Mcafee or Norton both suck. Bloated and just a headache.

I've used AVG for a while now and never had a problem and it's free.

In the office we use Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services. Pretty good and stable solution that hasn't allowed anything to get infected. My home computers are MACS so I'm not really concerned with virus' etc as much as the Windows PCs in the office. YMMV

I just use the built in ms stuff.

I've had to clean my share of viruses off many of neophyte's computers before... but there's usually so many security vulnerabilities in the av software itself that you're better off without it.

With that said, Malwarebytes is decent and not too intrusive for checking downloads and stuff.
