I definitely have no qualms with tightening up the Anthem during sporting events. It really pisses me off that people are too busy trying to get hotdogs and stuff in the middle of the Anthem. Aramark needs to show some respect.

of course, this proposal was not made in the US, but the dit-ship uber-libs in this country ARE having a go at both the first and second amendments ...

speaking of dit-ships ... he remains free to kneel at home during the anthem ... if he's got one of those packages that lets him see every NFL game each week, he could wear a spot in the rug in front of his TV ...

There is no evidence of anyone actually going after the 1st or 2nd amendment in the USA.

However there is evidence of tail suggesting he would like to make lack of enthusiasm for the anthem punishable in the USA.

Don't try to divert the topic. Tail wants to move the country another step towards facism.

I liked living in the Philippines for the time I was there. Their people are mostly very humble, respectful, kind, and generous... but this is just plain dumb.

Never lived there, but had many Filipino colleagues at RSCCD: great group of people who were, like MACS said, respectful, generous, kind, devoted to family, humorous and hard working

Hey.
Don't blame me.
You agreed with me in post #2: " ...Yeah. Because fewer freedoms is what our nation needs."

I'm just targeting anthem nazis. You're talking about all our freedoms.

Freak.

And tail is excited for it.

No I don't think we can learn anything positive from this proposed Philippines' bill. I could care less what Kaepernick does or doesn't do. It's his free choice to be disrespectful and I'll defend his right to stand, sit, kneel, whatever because it's one of the freedoms that makes America great. fog
