How many of you have sent SteveS a cigar?

now that I know and like him, I probably should. PM me his addy, and what he likes.

Actually, you probably shouldn't ... it's a long story, but the absolute fact is, it's an old joke ... Gerbil knows that full well, but isn't above perpetuating the old wives tale ...
I far prefer the friendship above a cigar or two ... truly.

Best,

Steve

Ducati was here before me by a couple of months. Been a long and twisted road along the way. Still it has always been fun.
Learned a lot. Laughed a lot. Lost a friend or two along the way. Still a good place to be as I consider many here my friends. We just have yet to meet.

I've been around a while, but haven't been around a while.

I wonder if my Platinum Membership is still active?

That's exactly what somebody secretly building a cigar complex would say.

I've never "sent" SteveS a cigar, but I've handed him a cigar or two on several occasions.

DMV was hammering that nail pretty hard when I joined...I sent a couple of local rolled smokes to SteveS, since I didn't know whether he liked natties or maddies...

I felt like such a FNG then (Nov 2011)...and because of some of the guys who have been here for so long and know much more about CBID history and occasionally post about some of the inside jokes and backstories, I still get that johnny-come-lately, new guy feeling...glad I got to know MACS, who has filled me in on some details and helped to get some of that noob smell offa me...

The biggest difference between now and how the CBid community was about 6 years ago when I joined is the absence of a whole lot of pot stirrers and in-your-face-noob kinda guys...only a few of those guys are still active while others have mellowed some, so the feeding frenzies on those occasions when red meat shows up are very rare anymore...still a lot of guys here who are generous with their knowledge and experience and opinions, about cigars and a whole lot more...makes this place worth hanging around...

I have a long member that's very active.

Once this a.m. and probably let my broad at it again tonight.

Whistlebritches and I had a sword fight in the bathroom above Casa Fuente so I know I've got him beat. And he swore he was longer than teedubya.....

The logistics of that... how does that work exactly? You gotta get a running start to smash bellies together to break the clearance?

Did you have to tape your balls up so they didn't swing forward and touch (that would be gay)?

That's awesome. I've smoked many cigars with SteveS. He's one of the best and most genuine you'll ever come across.

He hadn't posted is a long time. A guy like that darkening a place like this is a sad state. I was using depth charges to get him to surface. There's a lot more that should be posting here that have gone into silent running mode. I'm glad he's back posting here again.
