I couldn't find any WD-40 in my garage this morning but then found it behind a toolbox. Makes you question everything about your life as a man

You're stuck in the past. Lithium grease, that's the ticket.

I solved that problem by buying several cans and leaving them around the garage, now if I could just find the can that still has the plastic spray tube... d'oh!

And it is THIS issue alone that has them now " attaching it " to the can in a convenient " fold away fashion " that has ended THAT problem. ( wonder how much more they're charging for that? ) lol

Just buy another when you can't find it.

I think last time I reorganized my garage I found 6 cans of PB Blaster, 5 WD-40 and 2 silicone sprays

I REFUSE TO BUY "3 in 1 OIL" in new girly plastic bottles.

I but ALL MY MANLY "3 in 1" OIL...@ flea markets or garage sales in MANLY METAL CANS...

MOSTLY USED, ALREADY OPEN , HALF FULL...
FOR A "QWWAAAT-ter"...

I have about 6 or 7 CANS...

REAL men buy it by the gallon!

Then...

You'll never turn back to those overpriced girly spray cans again.

Can't understand the fascination with WD-40. It's a mediocre product that does a lot of things, but none of them well. Only thing I've ever found it good for is a cheap glue remover.

Meh, Real men like the standard can with the little foldable red straw thingy than a big clunky spray bottle.

Real men don't waste their time with inferior products like WD-40.

If you work with/machine much aluminum you'll find that it's an excellent product.

Remember that if you ever find yourself needing to to drill or tap any.
If you run a Bridgeport, works great in the mister. Gives the best finish possible.

As an actual lubricant, not so much, but handy as hell in the shop nevertheless.

Meh, it's ok for a polish with a scotch brite, but it sucks as a cutting oil.

Your shop, you do what you want.

I'm curious what you prefer as a "cutting oil" on aluminum, since you say WD-40 sucks.

Try tapping aluminum with conventional cutting oil.

Um... no, but I hear it does work well for constipation however... that's why the straw is so long, so you can really get in there with it.
