I like my vodka and gin with tonic and a twist. After trying many vodka's and gin's I have come to the conclusion that the tonic water you use makes more difference to the drink than the vodka or gin.So after trying many tonic waters............Canada Dry with gin and White Rock with vodka, but honestly the White Rock is my fave.

I always assumed you were smokin the white rock. It's brave to come out. First step towards the cure.

Give the Seagram's tonic a try. Don't think you will go back to the C/Dry.

On another note, really liking the Wheatley vodka.

me too. less cloyingly sweet, cleaner.

i agree with Ron, the gin or vodka in a g/v & t is less important than the tonic, however some g's and v's are too smooth to stand up to the mixer and are better suited to neat, rocks, or martinis.

I like tanquerey in a g & t, but prefer blue sapphire or hendrix in a martini.
I hate to mix Belvi with tonic...seems like a waste.

I was actually thinking of him when I poured it. It's been a few years since I had it. Still prefer Tito's but it's a very nice, softer change of pace.

RIP Wheel.

been hanging with the inexpensives this summer...
Trader Joes Vodka of the Gods, like 12 or 13 bones for a 1.75. More than good enough to go with tonic.
New Amsterdam Gin, also more than good enough for a g & t

I hate svedka, I typically go with Lukasowa for cheap. Also Żubrowka is excellent and almost has a slight vanilla finish. It's so smooth you can shoot it at ambient temperature and is only $20 a fifth.

If y'all want something extra special, befriend a Mongolian and get them to bring back Karsoobd. Hands down the best vodka I've ever had. Mongolian vodka is the best. Probably the only alcohol that I can honestly say could potentially give me alcohol poisoning. I drank enough of it to feel lightning bolts criss crossing my brain one night.

There are other brands, Chinggis, Valor, Gereg, which are also very good straight. In my opinion, the best go Mongolian, Polish, Russian, and then the rest is kind of a mixed bag.

Back in high school I ate a tiny pc of white paper that made me feel those lightning bolts and more.....it must have been soaked in Mongolian VodkaThink I always wondered what caused those "visions"Bombed
