My goal is to land a yellowtail that is as long as that sidewalk is wide. So far I think my best one is 13 lbs. Biggest ever was 92 lbs. I just want one over 25.

Mmmmm... hamachi.

Wow, look at all that fresh garden fertilizer!

I love to fish, I hate eating them though. Good job out there.

Why not Shelter Island boat launch? Any particular island or around all of them. Did you get your bait at the bait barge?
Anchovies or mackerel? X Think

Help me out Macs.

Here, bonito are considered trash fish. We use them for cut bait because they are so bloody.

Do y'all have a different species maybe?

Nope. Some people don't like them. Some folks say they are awesome raw, or smoked... but I was told to make the meat taste better you either bleed them out, or gut 'em right away and remove the blood line.

You got a passport and a Mexican fishing permit? The fishing at the Coronado Islands has been very good lately. Going again tomorrow, but I've already filed my payment/manifest.
