I looked up a few old reviews that did connect the original Vegas Miami to Pepin but perhaps they are wrong. We are going back ~10 years or so.

Jespear perhaps I was mislead, but I remember the original Vegas 5 Miami having a buzz, back in the day, concerning being of the house of Pepin on some level (I acknowledge misinformation travels fast sometimes.). No doubt about Padilla, in fact I might still have a few of those red and black banded Miami bueaties somewhere.

Like I said, Q . . . If you find those Padilla 8 & 11s, and are not to attached to them . . . maybe we could work something out. Sipping tea

Flor de Gonzalez, Rocky Patel R-4, Indian Tabac, Puros Indios and the Acid Nasty (well-named) are at the top of the list. Thankfully, Indian Tabac is no longer sold.

And, I forgot to mention Arganese. Got a mouthful of ammonia on that one. I would have been better off with one of those things they put in urinals, wrapping it in used burlap and lighting it. Took a week to get the taste out of my mouth.

José L. Piedra Cremas CC's. Second place goes to an awful Belinda cigar that I can't remember the size or name. I think I was in shock after it so I blacked it out. ram27bat

Mr B original is my worst to date. I am a noob to cigars number one, second due to unforeseen circumstances I was looking for cheap cheap and boy did I find it. I swear I think a paper towel roll would have burned better. That cigar had more gaps and soft spots in it than my brain after my stroke. I have heard people describe some cigars as having a barnyard or hay taste or notes to them. This thing tasted like I just licked a horses ass while it had the screaming **** but, maybe my taste buds are just screwed up. Brick wall

The ones my buddy and I tried weren't bad. Pretty average lighter smoke.

Must have had a dud. I think these are very flavorful and draw and burn good. Maybe they are hyped a bit much but a solid cigar.

My worst was Acid Kuba Kuba.

I also love the Herrera Esteli that I had a couple months ago. It is definitely at the top of my list of boxes to buy once I get my finances under control.

Wile out at the Oliva event, my wife and I was checking out what all the shop had. On the way into the walk in humi my wife catches wind of something she loved the smell of. She ask Lynn the owner what is that smell and Lynn tells her. My wife comes to me and says you need to get a "Tatiana Groovy Blue". Me wanting to try something I never had and still very much a noob, I was like Ok So we get one. I could already tell by the smell of grape this was not going to go well. Of course I did not tell my wife that and purchased it. I refused to put it in my humidor and it was stinking up my office. I had to get rid of it so I just finished it and all I can say is... There is not enough dish soap to get this nasty grape hubba bubba taste out of my mouth and the smell is stuck to me like glue. I thought I had tried a overly sweet cigar before. This damn thing is so sweet that it turned my stomach even the smell is to dang sweet and I was born and raised on southern sweet tea which is basically syrup in a glass. I am not even going to post this one in the "What you smoking" forum its so damn nasty. Unless you like rainbow colored drinks, Potpori flavored cigars or cigars infused with fake bathroom Drakar. Stay way far away from this one. If you do like that sort of thing you will love this one lol.

Better man than me, I would have told my wife to get lost or smoke it herself. Wouldn't touch that garbage to my lips for anyone.

The ones I tried were something like mini robustos that came in a tin of five and may not have been representative, although I would have expected them to at least have the same wrapper. The wrapper was so acidic that it burned my lips. The smoke similarly irritated my tongue and throat, from harshness and not heat. I thought the first one might be an outlier. Nope. I put the other three in a box with a scoop of coffee for 2 or 3 weeks hoping to smooth them out. That helped a bit but not enough.

As of last night Sosa's were added to my would not like to smoke again. I agree with chazzeric, not a fan of VS55.
