Don't forget summa dis to hep ya sellibr8

https://www.theliquorstorejacksonhole.com/spirits/Wyoming-Whiskey-Eclipse-Edition-Small-Batch-Bourbon-5-year-w43354144i

Wyoming Whiskey’s Eclipse Edition is similar to its Small Batch which is medium amber in color with a nose of sweet corn, molasses, and clove. It is medium-bodied with a palate of vanilla, caramel, charred oak, and a hint of citrus. The finish is mild with lingering caramel and toast, and is very smooth. But Eclipse has subtle differences due to the specific barrels selected for this expression. Bottles will retail for $45.

IINM though only available IN Wyoming

What? Seriously?

Went down to KY for a bourbon release a few weeks back ( Weller / Old Pogue / 1792 " sweet wheat " / Orphan Barrel "Rhetoric" and Elmer T Lee ) through Liquor Barn of Louisville, all we got by the time we got in was an empty ETL case box to put our OTHER purchases in Brick wall

"Then you flew your Learjet up to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun
Well, you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not, you're with some underworld spy
Or the wife of a close friend,
Wife of a close friend, and
You're so vain"

Just a sneeze south of totality ...this place is going to turn into a straight-up crazy town. Our town of 50k is expecting an influx of 500k-3mil...and they're ball park guessing based on hotel and campground reservations. Telling people to put an extra couple cans of gas in the car if they drive out to see the event and pack a couple of meals to eat in the car...plus porta potties along the interstate. Phone and net will be nonexistent with that much extra load. NASA has rented every campground in two national forests. Our tiny little town created an eclipse incident command lmao. Heavy traffic is having to pass more than two cars - our roads won't handle this gracefully. Anticipating a 30 minute drive taking 4-6 hours. Fun times...

I'm predicting heavy clouds over our area, especially just east of here where it is supposed to be 100% People are talking about a big influx of people, but we shall see.

Air bnb comes to mind.

I just saw an article where st joe is the third best place in the country to see it. St joe is 30 miles north of me. For perspective st joe is supposed to see 2m 34sec of totality. I'm supposed to see 2m 2sec totality. 30 miles south of me is supposed to see 20 seconds totality.

We've been working on emergency plans etc for st joe. They don't have the infrastructure to support things.

It's going to be crazy. I'm not going anywhere near Joe town that entire weekend. My (and most other) employers are simply shutting down.

I think 29 is going to be a parking lot. St. Joe is under a siege mentality right now. Most people are worried that the city is going to run out of food, gasoline, etc. It is expected that something like 500k people are going to be at Rosecrans airport alone. I'm lucky enough to live up in Savannah so I don't have to go to St. Joe that weekend.

TW - yeah, inadequate infrastructure is the issue here, too. Our area is listed in every top 5 list, despite the weather channel publishing that map where Idaho was missing entirely! I was kind of hoping that would put a damper on the tourism lol. "Okay, we can go to Oregon, or we can skip that strange void and go to Wyoming..."

Most of the totality path through idaho has basically ZERO light pollution, so the "dark skies" enthusiasts are out in force. Got plenty of dark skies right now...thanks a lot wildfire season. I don't want to think about how bad it's going to be when all of the city dwellers who aren't usually campers and don't acknowledge burn bans all pitch a WalMart pup tent in the forest and try to burn it down...

The single north-south interstate through the area will be converted to ALL lanes north only in the morning and ALL lanes south in the evening. If you need to go the other way, take the old highways...along with the jillion other people doing the same thing trying to get out of the interstate traffic. Our towers, grid, roads, stores and gas stations just don't have the ability to handle that many extra people...they're saying if you travel, plan to start the Wednesday before and be stuck until the Wednesday after.

Already had alerts about people hitching onto people's RVs and driving off...looks like folks' entrepreneurial spirit is already coming out. Even if you stay home, ALL of our police will be managing traffic chaos somewhere, and most of our residents will be out stuck on the road, so if you're an opportunistic criminal, there will be plenty of opportunity.

Actually I heard that a lot of folks are renting out camping spots on their property, because campgrounds have been booked for over a year. Making some $$$ on it.
