Trump is going to donate 1 mil of his own funds to the recovery effort.

How much you giving?

Yes,he is. From his charity org. Which is really money donated by other people.
So,in reality,he's donating others people's money in his own name...PLUS he takes a tax deduction. X Frying pan

The Lovely Caren filled a few boxes and bags with new unused stuff we had accumulated, clothing and packages of Pampers and stuff the granddaughter never needed. Sadly, there wasn't anything else yet dropped off at the location in town collecting, but that was Friday morning and they expected a big weekend.

My 97 year old mother had me go to the Red Cross website so she could donate money. On her Ipad she had seen a banner claiming Walmart would triple any donation, but I never found it and did not trust it, so the Red Cross got her donation.

Red Cross donation here. Been in a decent size city with historic flooding. No power for weeks sucked. Being the largest city to ever lose their water supply was worse. Things you don't think about till gone. Like the need to abandon the downtown due to no fire systems or ac. No water to flush sucks too.

Trump has never been thought of as charitable, and indeed it's been proven he often says he donates then often does not. Particularly since becoming a politician. I think he means it, but I think it's part of his being in the moment then being somewhere else a few minutes later. hope he does this time. His tax returns could help settle things.

The cons view the truth as deflection. Nothing new there.
BTW,I donated $100 to UNICEF + some clothes and socks to a local church that was gathering clothes to send
to Houston. I did NOT donate to the red cross. Too much money that is donated goes to administration costs.
Only 20-25% of money donated goes to aid the victims. The red cross lives for these disasters, to fatten their coffers.

How much you giving? X Think

I didn't vote for the muthafugger. ..try again

So answer me this. You're not happy with the administrative costswith the Red Cross, but you're OK with the party that SURVIVES off inefficiency?

Not trying to tell people how to donate or where to send their heartfelt cash...

But if you go to Charity Navigator, you'll find in depth analysis of how each charity spends the money you donate...I used to give annually to the American Red Cross and other charities that you see on TV...but after I read the analysis and saw the breakdown of how your dollar is spent, I went to more efficient places...those that do not advertise...
