These guys are running low... since the FDA came along and screwed things up... and they have a lot of requests from combat troops for cigars.

"Homosassa, Florida - For over four years, the only IRS registered 501 (c) (3)
charity of its kind, Operation: Cigars for Warriors, has brought comfort to
thousands of combat deployed US service men and women through donations
of premium cigars and accessories. Op: CFW proudly sends to our deployed
Service Members their Number 1 Requested item, “Premium Cigars”, 100%
requested."

Has anybody sent to these guys before? The ship to address on their packing slip goes to a shady looking address according to google maps / street view. I realize google could be wrong... I’d like to donate 20-30 cigars, but would like feedback on credibility. Thanks.

Here's a legitimate place to send your spares. We have supported them for years, and not just cigars. They take donations (for mailing expenses) and goods that are hard to get for our service men and women.

Hey Brother! How have you been? I haven't been on here in a long time either.

Got anything left? or did you find homes for all the cigars?

Let me know what you got left (if any), I am looking at restocking my own stock.

Hey, I just came back across this.

These guys are completely legit. They send out thousands of cigars. And get back photos from the troops enjoying the cigars. The FDA shenanigans really put a hit on their donations from manufacturers... but continuing private donations are still keeping them going.

If you have Facebook, check out - Operation: Cigars for Warriors

And... http://cigarsforwarriors.org/

They've recently changed the address from Bob's house in Homosassa, FL, to the B&M he works at in Ocala, FL.
I periodically order bundles of cigars at CI and have them shipped there directly. I also donate money to help pay for the postage.

The FDA really put them in a bind......... but they Endeavor to Persevere. :-)
