Columbia isn’t a place I would want to live either. But there are lots of hot college chicks.

Welp, My wife and I just finished our 18th year anniversary dinner. I cooked us a nice T-Bone steak, baked potato and had a salad to boot. It was a good day!

Tooth pain. Almost the worst pain in my life. Hopefully, the endodontist will do a root canal. Go figure hoping to get a root canal done....

Despite hydrocodone 5/325 I am still miserable. Waiting to hear from nurse that doctor will sign a new pain med presciription with something that lasts longer and will rid me of pain.

Cracking a person's ribcage like a zipper unzipping still feels really weird to me. Done it hundreds of times but every time I go in expecting a springy bounce and instead get a poppoppoppoppop it makes me cringe a bit. And then I crack the rest.

Sorry to hear that. Hope it goes as well as it can. Gotta love when people ask you how you are doing at a funeral. Don't hold in any emotions though, really helps with the peace afterwards.

Continued prayers for you and your family!

Ahh.. it's just like breaking simi wet kinlin lol. I love to watch people's reaction when it's their first time in the OR and they get the smell from a bovie knife or the bipolar lol. The best was watching a trainee almost hit the floor when a patient's skull cap was taken off exposing the meninges and brain. After that little incident not many was invited to look over the surgeon's shoulder unless they were a little more experienced lmaoooo

yup...and the cost...my wife will do most of the work to get the house decorated and dining area ready for the large group. Since it'll be a warm day (90's), we'll have a pool party before dinner...I have to clean the pool...

...luckily my grown kids have volunteered to help with the cooking...SIL's parents decided not to host Thanksgiving at their house this year...SIL's father is under-going cancer treatment, so we invited them and his brother's family to join us for Thanksgiving dinner...size of the crowd doubled, from 12 to 24...

went shopping yesterday to gather up all the stuff I'll need to make the turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. Had to buy extra turkey thighs because most of the family prefers dark meat. SIL's mother will come over early to make her stuffing casserole, and she'll bring the stuff for it. She wants the liver and gizzard and neck meat from the turkey, though, so I'll just boil them to make the broth for the gravy and give the meat to her for the stuffing. I usually chop that up and put it in the gravy...She also asked me to get a larger turkey, so that she can have left-overs to take home. I usually make a casserole or a soup with the left overs...sigh...

Son will make sweet potatoes and green beans. He said that I shouldn't bother making the cranberry sauce, since hardly anyone but him, his wife and I like it. He said the canned cranberry sauce would be easier, less messy, and prolly more popular. OK with me...

Not sure what my daughter will bring besides biscuits or dinner rolls. Maybe I'll ask her to get a large pumpkin pie and some whipping cream.

All in all, we are blessed...Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!

Ooooh... I'm more of a fan of good beer than I am of free beer, even if it means I have to buy it.

Marathon short week at work, fiancee’s delightful mama is in from Russia for a few months. Family invading Wednesday through Friday.
Upside, there will be four lovely Russian women in the house.
I won’t be allowed anywhere near the kitchen. While I enjoy cooking, it’s nice to be fed in style once in a while.
I also won’t be allowed to clean. Which is a total bonus.
I won’t even get the stink eye when I imbibe....okay. That’s pretty normal. But we will be sampling the homemade stuff, and hopefully not going blind.
If I don’t make it back by the day: Happy Early Thanksgiving peeps.

Remains to be seen. He's affianced right now... once he's married we'll see if he gets the same treatment, or if he ends up with 50% less stuff. Anxious

You some funny guys.
In order from 340:
dunno. We met dancing in a club. What are YOU reading?

Prenup agreement. House is pre marriage. The rest of the stuff is hers anyway.

Which is too bad cuz I would rock that chit compared to the current option we elected. But, enough of politics. Back to Ruskie bashing.

Sort of, but not in the “ twins, Basil, TWINS!” Sort of way. More like judgy rich sister sorta way.

As often as I can.....oh. You said colluding.

Did I mention she is Russian?

You have no idea how much.

Ain’t that the truth.
