Anybody ever tried "bespoke" cigars?

If so... your thoughts?

Never tried the Bespoke and the reviews I could find when I was interested were mixed. Guess I was not much help but curious myself.

I bit years ago when they 1st came out. My thoughts are they tasted closer to Nic tobacco than Cuban. Well made and darker wrappers than most. No twang.

Meh. They were ok. Nothing to write home about.

I suspect there might be different rollers / blenders involved too, so one vitola might not be indicative of whole line.

I've never tried one, but my opinion of any mass produced product named bespoke has got to be trash.

Kinda like the peoples republic of north korea... if you need it in the name, then clearly you're hiding something.

These aren't the mass produced NC Bespokes.

If what you are saying is true, wouldn't that mean you're just contacting an arbitrary place to have them build you a custom blend?

If that's the case, then I don't think MACS gave specific enough details about the cigars he's looking to acquire as "bespoke" would imply a method of manufacturing as opposed to a product line.

Also, I thought these were referred to as "custom rolls", probably because "bespoke" sounds douchey af for all things. I could never buy something sold to me using the word "bespoke" for that very reason.

He did if everyone ELSE who replied knew what he was talking about.. :)

There's a particular vendor who pushes a line with the name...even though they're not custom rolls...might have been at one time, dunno bout that

^^Which is why I was asking... I gave enough info for the folks who knew what I meant (and replied), yet not enough to upset the forum minotaurs or drop a competitor reference.

Thanks, bruddahs.

Well, I obviously I don't know wtf I'm talking about, but it's ok because everything I said was ambiguous enough to be applied to anyone naming their product line bespoke.

Edit:

I found em, I know what you FOGs are talking about now. Doesn't change my opinion however :P

they are sold at local not far away from me. If I'm house sitting for my buddy later this month, it's actually across the street. I can grab a few for you if youd like. Google Biggs cigar mansion n they apparently have them

Just wondering if anyone else has thoughts about this brand.

I saw that they’re available from a small place on the West Coast that I’ve dealt with so curious if they’re as good as what Katman said and worth the coin.

I've only read from Uncle K and those who comment on his reviews. That's been enough to make me curious though.
