Searching past lots for pricing info used to be easy:
Simply put this into google (with the quotes)

"5-Pack: Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Robusto - 5 Cigars" "cigarbid"

You would get a few results, with maybe 2 or 3 links to a past cbid auction of the above, and then at the bottom of the page, would be a link that said:

If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

When you clicked this link, you would often get 15 to 30+ links to past auctions of fivers of Jaime Garcia Robustos (or whatever), going back 6 months, or more.

Now??!!
I have no idea what happened.......but you are lucky if you get even one result.
I've tested this across platforms, browsers, and devices............same result.

So my questions to you young tech jockeys are:

1) Why is this happening?

2) Is it google, or cbid?

3) What's the work-around to look-up past auction results?

Note that TODAY is the first time I have done a search of this kind since earlier in the year, so it may be that this situation has existed since March or so...........
Think

Could it have something to with cbid's "software upgrade"?

No its google, They dropped the industrial standard algorithm search and decided to replace with their own. Since you have it in quotes I am assuming you are doing a verbatim search. There is a way with chrome to set to a verbatim search mode. Here is a link that will take you to the verbatim search page for google. Not sure if this really helps but just type in the search bar but without quotes see if that gets you what you are looking for.

here is the link

Thanks for trying Ewok......but it does nothing.
I'm thinking it has to do with how the new cbid software is serving up their pages........but I'm probably wrong.

It could very well be that King there is no telling. I just thought that since google had changed their search deal that maybe it was a possibility. It was worth a try lol.

Searching works fine for me. Sounds to me like you got caught tampering with forces man wasn't meant to understand. Now you're trapped in a pocket universe from which there is likely no escape.
