that ultimate humidor combo is actually meant for new smokers, and to be used with a promo code making it 19.99
paired with that 25% off that made you deal slick, your looking at 1.50 a cigar.
1.50<2.50 a cigar. you still overpaid :-)

never had oliva 2nds thou. 40 seems kinda steep for 2nds. but I guess that would be 30.

the 5 Vegas I also thought were a promo item, but I am not sure.

RAH is the true identity of OP masked in mysterious digits. RAH is local authority on the cheapest, nastiest yard gars ever pushed by CI. If a cigar can be bought for less than .75 per stick, RAH has tried it. He was derided as a HtT of sorts...before there was a HtT...lots of words, little of value. He hibernated for a while and reappeared as this number guy and has since been much more on point with his posts...still dwells at the shallow end of the cigar pool, but with a tinge of (recently acquired?) humor and self control.

ya true.......
but what made RAH famous, was when he'd come in here looking for "help"........

he'd do something like bid on 10 fivers of dog rockets hoping to snag a few at a good price......then when it was becoming apparent that he was gonna win all 10...........well.............he'd come in here and try to talk us into jumping on the "deal" he was about to get

I think it was RAH??
Eh......maybe not......but there was a dog rocket hunter who used to do that...

Yeah...plenty of 'classic' RAH events....like when he posted every single cigar in his possession and asked us to rate them...lol

Or, when he tried to call out Gurkha for questionable changes in quality control...or wrapper changes or something

But he always took our shlt ...fairly even keeled...he just likes cigars that would make Tony gag...and then proceded to tell us about it....ad nauseum...but if you ever wanted to read a positive review about Pirates Gold, RAH was your guy

Guilty as charged....snob, too....I used to say smoke what you like....but had trouble telling that to RAH with a straight face.

I don't mind paying fair value for cigars I like, but I still like a good deal, also. I still get some Palinas here now and again....and was happy to be one of four in on this one:

.....One fact I learned from this forum is that EVERYONE thinks the cigars they smoke are the best. Problem is that's just an opinion and don't mean shat! Like Cigar Dave and all the smokers at Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Snob are idiots and don't know a good smoke when they burn one. Idiots think their smokes are the BEST because they pay so much and get them from some under the radar retailer. Of course no one thinks they are an idiot which is why they continue to post their moronic opinions in this forum about over priced blends that ARE AVERAGE at best!

Welcome! You'll find some friends here to fit your unusual lifestyle, I have no doubt.

Don't worry about breaking out the Weber, some of these guys need no excuse to gather in a circle, if you know what I mean. In point of fact, your post makes you seem a little slow, and maybe considered the "winner." With that in mind, do you care if we call you The Doughnut?

@jespear

Congratulations on the NINE.

I haven't seen a good nine in quite awhile.

They went the way of the 500 after the new format.

A touch of nostalgia for the holiday season.
