Maybe ask the other girls about how they feel about the power of their boxes to get ideas?

And it's really not about who sends the most or most expensive etc... It's the spirit that counts. Now, go show your box off to the world.

Not me, I haven't bid on anything here for a loooong time. I don't have a shovel big enough to scoop all the chit they offer here. YMMV.

My point was, it's about the spirit of giving and not trying to impress everyone else- or yourself for validation.

Case in point, Luke has no shame or pride, just look what he sent for his gift. Nice one Luke! You've trained well young padawan. Herfing

Can't let Hank the Tank die....

My wife went out to water some plants on the front porch this morning, and noticed a crater behind the rocking chair. The postman must have known the valuables in the box and hid it well yesterday. We were babysitting our grand-daughter at her house when the mailman usually delivers. When we didn't respond to the two rings that signals a package delivery, he put it in a spot where it is less visible. We got home last night and entered the house through the garage and didn't see the package tucked in the corner behind the chair.

When I opened it and saw the contents, two thoughts popped up. Holy carp!!! Then, uh oh, it was very dry last night, humidity below 10% ...hope the cigars are ok. Not to worry, the SS packed them in a ziplock with a boveda moisture pack.

I'll do my tech challenged best to post a pic, but here's a description:

a boatload of cigars, 21 total, including some Padrons and some Fuentes and some Cubans and a variety of others. Plus a box of matches from Cigar.com
Gorgeous polished wooden two cigar ashtray with two tones of wood
A 1 lb can of mixed nuts.
A 6 oz bag of Honey Barbecue beef jerky
A whole bunch of candies in a ziplock: Jolly Ranchers, Whoppers, Hersheys Kisses, Starburst, Bottle Caps, taffy, Snickers...

I looked in the box for a clue to the identity of my Secret Santa, and couldn't see anything obvious. There was a sticker of a smiling turd with a Santa hat on, but....could be any one. Then I looked closely at the packing material and noticed what looked like a tank tread pattern on a length of brown paper. Gotta be from Hank the Tank!!!

Nicely done, Brother! Thanks for the tasty and useful gifts and the great selection of cigars. May you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo!

Great guess! I tried to throw off the return addy by using my buddy's. Obviously didn't help. ha Not sure if it is possible to mail something like that without a return addy.

Had to try to load it up as some payback for our not so fair trade when I first got on the board. I was pretty excited I got you. Enjoy and Merry Christmas to your family as well.

That cigar tray is one of the awesome trays made by my cousin. He has some serious skill. He had hoped to leave the bark on the raw edge but unfortunately it didn't want to play. Looks great either way!

Man you are not kidding, My Secret St Nick hit the porch today as well and OMG! The goodies galore. I have been sitting here for an hour just staring in awe. Not only did Santa do his damage but the Elves pitched in as well.

I will be listing everything tomorrow along with the clue and my guess to who my SS is. I want to get this right and at the moment my eyes are crossed. I will be doing a photo post as well but sadly it will not get approved until Monday. To my Secret Santa I thank you very much from the heart you have went way above and beyond. I tried to hide it, but the state gave it away. LG was a small batch, forget which one, they are delicious. Unbanded was a LFD cabinet Maduro. Matches are from the local shpo, who doesnt need matches.

I had to hide the snacks from my girlfriend, the caramels are addicting. She was mad I didn't bring her one too.

In the note that santa wrote there was mention of a question that is on everyone's mind "WTF is an ewok" So to answer that.

An Ewok is a tribal sentient furred biped native to the moon of Endor. We are curious individuals that stand about one meter tall. We are extremely skilled in forest survival and the construction of primitive technology like spears and catapults. We are quick learners when exposed to advanced technology. So, basicly a midget bear that is vaguely aware, walks upright, and mucks chit up!. ThumpUp

The clue mentioned was "Snowflake" So I am going to guess my SS is my most favorite NON-Millennial ypetryna. I hope I am correct lol.

I can not say thank you enough to my Secret Santa and the Elves. I greatly appreciate everything. I will be posting a Photo!... "Snowflake" LOL LOL LOL
