What Blends are you buying?

This is my "off-season" for fishing and for cigars. I usually start both mid-March and end in mid-November. During this down time I stock up on lures and smokes. I know a lot of you guys smoke all year long but I'm interested to know what blends you guys are buying...not how many or how much money your spending. I'll leave those questions to Hamk the Cyrus. Herfing

So here is what I've stocked up on so far this off-season:

Camacho Triple Maduro
Camacho Corojo
Don Pepin Blue
My Father
Padron 1926
La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Maduro (Not really a fan but they came in a sampler)
Ashton VSG
Cain F
Oliva Master Blends 3 (Couldn't resist that deal the other day)

I am mainly asking this question because I like learning; that's why I read more than I post and why I stay away from the politics section here. I know not everybody posts what they're smoking at the moment, and I would bet a lot of people aren't smoking everything they're buying right away. I'm not.

Wish you all a Merry Xmas and look forward to your comments.

In the last two weeks: Fuentes, Tats & Olivas

Have my eyes on some others before Christmas but have finally run out of room. I guess it's time for a cooler.

A lot of what I get is more dependent on the wrapper and RG. I love CBL so anything with that, catches my attention. Similarly with Corojo and Habano wrapped smokes but CBL still rules the roost. Also prefer 50 RG or less so that the wrapper to filler ratio is in favor of the wrapper.

I haven't really been buying lately. Actually running a little low (relatively speaking of course).

Been buying used golf clubs with different shafts to try them out before I buy my real new set of irons.

Tried the Project X 6.0s, wanted something a little more stout, so the irons I'm playing now have c-taper 130s on them. I love them, when I accidentally overcrank it, they don't go snap hooking out of the park, which is good.

Also, I've found that they are just more accurate in general, though I have been overshooting greens a little more because I'm able to swing without fear of the hook. That's ok though, I think I'm done experimenting now, and I think I'm going to go with the c-taper 130s on my new iron set.

So when I do finally restock again, I'll probably just stick with my tried and true. Ultimately I like smoking cigars, I've found that I pretty much lost my desire to collect them (even though I have a few collection specimens)... though I do buy Opus when I see them. I prefer to stick with base product lines that I enjoy as opposed to limited editions and such.

Padron, Fuente Sun Growns, LFD/LG, Melanio, My Fathers, Tat Miami, etc...

Oh, one that I find my self buying more and more of though is the Perdomo Champaign, which actually got me on a Connecticut shade kick for a while. Trying to find some good ones, but most are a bit weaker than I prefer so it's been difficult, I've found a few that I like though.

Anyway, done rambling.

If you haven't tried the Undercrown Shade, give it a try. It definitely surprised me when I did. It had more flavor than I expected.

Ya, that's one I thought about trying. I'm not the biggest fan of the normal Undercrowns (or lps in general), but I am curious about their shade line.

One's I've found that I liked are Padron Diamaso, My Father Connecticut, and several Perdomos. Avo Classics are pretty good too.

Bid $19 or $22 on these to day and you have a solid $2 per Habano smoke.

Thanks. I'll research them to see if it is something I'd like. I do know that I enjoy a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper... How does this compare to the Ramon Bueso Habanp as far as strength goes? The Ave is listed at medium but sometimes they can be a little weaker or stronger than the write up indicates. I liked the Bueso bc it was Medium-Full at the very least.

You're probably why I don't get Bueso's if that's what I like...well I'm still skeptical about receiving the cigars that I would potentially purchase. As someone mentioned in another thread the place that one can acquire that cigar has pretty much become a "random excuse generator."

Thanks. The Bishops Blend looks great. Couldn't find the Jas Sum Kral in Lancero but they had a good one on there in Toro. Cant remember the name but it was the strongest one that they sell.

Also, thanks for mentioning the "Tenski" place in another thread. It has worked out well for me.

Yeah no problem. The JSKs are nice and have a real great cedar flavor to them. The bishop's blend was pretty rough finding at first but then it seemed like almost every B&M I frequent had them.

Oh yah, that page is really good but I must admit, my biggest steal was from Old Man Tom and his Son who had a 10pk of Julius Caesar toros for about half the normal cost Hopefully they won't be stale when I actually go to light them.

Picked up a couple "Tenskis" of Camacho Ecuador Robustos, which equals out to a box worth.

I believe that's the cheapest I've ever seen them. I know this is a popular blend that rarely goes on sale so just passing along the info.
