Trump disbanded the Election Integrity Commission he set up within months of taking office, primarily to confirm his claim that there were 3 million illegal votes in the 2016 Presidential election. Trump said he wanted to save tax-payer money because the commission is facing more than a dozen lawsuits, mostly by states pushing back against requests for data.

By folding the commission he is hoping the lawsuits go away....he's a smart man...believe me...

I don't think this means there was no fraud causing both branches of the legislature and the president to all be of the same party.

maybe...but I'm thinking the GOP's re-drawing of voting district lines in 2010-2011 and recently enacted GOP sponsored voter suppression laws in key states played a bigger role...

...do you know how hard it is to vote in three states?

Or, just maybe...the 'fact' that the whole thing is rigged....well, maybe it isn't such a bad thing after all

When states like yours...SANCTUARY CITIES / STATES refuse to work with authorities and are willing to give them outright immunity / amnesty, would it really matter IF THE COMMISSION WAS RIGHT??? After all, your corrupt elected officials and corrupt judges who legislate from the bench are prepared to give these lawbreakers outright amnesty anyway....in trade for a lifetime of VOTES and....AND allow the CHAIN to keep growing LINK by LINK

The GOP realigned voting lines?
I thought districts were a state thing.
And they enacted laws designed to suppress votes?
More details please.

setting voting district lines is a state thing, and happens every ten years after the Census (last done in 2010) is taken... if those doing the line drawing are appointed by....the party in power....

Here's an article that explains it:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/ap-analysis-shows-gerrymandering-benefited-gop-2016

Knowing your disdain for reading more than a few sentences, here's the gist:

"Traditional battlegrounds such as Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida and Virginia were among those with significant Republican advantages in their U.S. or state House races. All had districts drawn by Republicans after the last Census in 2010."

I won't do all your homework, but as an example of GOP efforts to suppress the vote, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin laws that were supposed to "make voting better" were in fact ruled Unconstitutional by the courts because they restricted or made voting more difficult for some categories of people...

+1. The Dem play book. Don't follow the law, when law says you must, file lawsuit with Liberal court. Spend tax payer money like a $2 hooker (or Dem) delaying the truth.

“Despite substantial evidence of voter fraud, many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry,” the White House said in a statement.

“Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today I signed an executive order to dissolve the Commission, and have asked the Department of Homeland Security to review these issues and determine next courses of action,” the statement continued.

don't blame this all on the libs... California's agriculture industry (Big Agra, very conservative, anti-unionists) needs a steady labor pool to harvest their crops, and they've come to rely on legal and illegal Mexican migrant farm-workers...they all say that Americans don't want to do those jobs, despite wage and benefit increases over the last few decades, and cite numerous examples of citizens not coming back after a day or three in the fields...

and the nation has come to expect low priced farm products...wanna pay $4/head of romaine, $5/lb of oranges?
