Hank it feels very look at me. This post, the militia post, the new pib, bus driver for DMV. It was all off of one comment and it became a one-man publicity campaign. I don't mean any disrespect to TZ on this. Whether or not you expected a return fire is not really the issue, it's the over the top self promotion for some form of superiority over the new group of members on the forum that chafes a bit. This type of thing should be done humbly not blowing up the forum with posts IMHO.

None of my threads/posts were self serving or wanting attention. What do I give a shat if I get the attention of a bunch of random people on the internet? I just wanted to get some people together to nutPunch/thank the vets/fogs.

My DMV thread was just to pizz him off, and it worked.

My PIB thread was a misunderstanding. Corey wanted me to get the noob PIB rolling again and I thought the easiest way to do that would be to start a new thread. Guess not, I misunderstood.

This whole Hank scenario is very reminiscent of another brother's shenanigans from a few years back.
I remember when Celtic Bomber came here as a noob and his enthusiasm was misinterpreted as a "look at me" attempt. He just wanted to be a "player", but some of the BOTL here were doubtful. His intentions were pure.
He was a wheeler dealer, for sure, but his attempts to collect lots of stock, whether thru trades or other means, was to have enough inventory to send LOTS of RAOKs to the other members of this forum, (which he DID).
Like hank, he had a, "If you don't like the way I'm doing things, SO WHAT. You can GFY" attitude.
My advice to YOU, Hank, FWIW, is don't try so hard. Just tone it back a bit .

See this is where the issue for me comes in Hank. I don't feel that that is genuinely the case. It's kind of hind-sighting the conversation to lead in that direction to save face.

I'm going to go back to the box pass you started months ago. At the time it was a good idea with good intentions to get a pass going that wasn't elite for some newbies to try some new stuff. The problem was (in my eyes) you loaded the initial contents with cigars that you felt were mediocre that you got cheap at auction in hopes to get some better stuff back. What happened was the first guy may have got the few quality smokes that were put in and then the following guys just took the ones that were added by the guy before. When it came my turn a message went out to try to take out of the original offering. So I took a couple of cigars from it and went on quietly with a bit of a sour taste. It felt like your intention was to upgrade some of your cheap auction sticks not introduce some newer guys to some quality affordable cigars in return for the same from those in the pass.

Fast forward to now you want us to bomb a vet quietly behind the scenes while you make a big spectacle about it. What I read is send all the cigars to me so I can skim the best off the top that I haven't had yet, don't worry I'll replace with something that I think is similar but I've had....

I know nothing about the CAT thing but you went into that only after you got called out and backed into a corner.

You're recent hits have been better, yet you constantly throw out a personal situation about being low or the next time I have money to buy cigars. I read that as over time you've undersold your end of trades and have accumulated better cigars off the generosity on this forum and are now trying to play up another tier.

I have no vote in who the new Donkey King is but personally I don't think Hank is a good representative of us if this is an important part of the forum and choose not to participate in this mission. I also think Ewok would be a much better representative for us.

I try to be as polite as possible but man Hank I'm smelling a bunch of BS.

In regards to the box pass, it was supposed to be mediocre cigars...that was the whole point. Half of what I got back was worth less than the cigars I sent out to begin with, so I don't know what you are talking about. If you didn't like any of the cigars in the box, you could have just passed it on to the next person without exchanging anything. That is your problem, not mine. Plus, I end up sending half of them and a bunch of other stuff to the troops.

In regards to the NOOB MILITIA stuff, the only reason I wanted it to all come to me was so I could equally divide between a few VETS in order to make sure they all got quality stuff. Since SOME people didn't like it, I messaged everyone that we could just all send our stuff separately to a single target. I didn't want anyone to think that there was anything underhanded going on, because there isn't.

Yeah, when that poll went up, I had never even looked at that thread. That is why I read it and donated. People are being ridiculous about all of this.

Ask NWStogie about my superbomb..it did go out. It wasn't quite as big as I wanted because I sent so much to the troops, but it was still pretty solid.

Again, in regards to my box pass, it was made clear it was supposed to be average cigars. If you missed that, that is your problem. I'm sorry you didn't approve. Again, if you didn't want anything in the box, you could have just passed it on.

Just because people call me a mooch, doesn't mean I actually am. I have sent out about 10 times the number of cigars I have received and I have no problem with that. I try to be a giving person.

For what it's worth, why don't you take care of your family / financial situation first? Spending money on postage while you still have serious debt doesn't make any sense. A little self-restraint could do wonders for your family.

I have no vote in who the new Donkey King is but personally I don't think Hank is a good representative of us if this is an important part of the forum and choose not to participate in this mission. I also think Ewok would be a much better representative for us.

I try to be as polite as possible but man Hank I'm smelling a bunch of BS.
