ok, so I finally got up to John's to have a cigar with him....well, we were having a cigar , and John starts to tell me about a a woman he knew that found a Padilla Pepin Rolled Signature 1932 box for a $1, so John said he would take it for me...so John brings it out, and I was like cool...for those that dont know Padilla Signature 1932 Pepin Rolled is my favorist cigar...so anyway, john goes back inside and comes out with a vision of heaven, 15 Padilla 1932 Signature Toro's...so my jaw dropped, and i said John, thats so awesome, and just starred at them....i said enjoy those babies..well then John says to me, these are yours! I said , say Wha? he says yes, these are for you....well i lit one up in seconds...mmmmmmmm.....slice of heaven...I was like no John, that is too much....well let me just say, that was an amazing thing he did, and I will owe him big time...be sure of that... well John what a christmas gift my friend...thank you

John is all class and truly defines not only what BOTL is but just plain awesomeness in people. John and his wife are the type of people I am proud to say that I am friends with.

By the way some of John's favorites are

Diablo Picantes
Pepin rolled 8&11
and I hear he is getting into Fuente's now

Jamie,
I figured, the longer it took you to remember, the more I would bust your aggots.
Think If the best I could come up with is, "fuggin slacker", then I think I need to see cacman or Jade Rose for a little lesson in "Ball Busting 101" .

Just because a RAOK was delivered in person doesn't mean it's exempt from the rules.

Not talking NO RETURN FIRE ON RAOKs ! Not talking

Thank you all for the kind words. You humbled me.

Every so often in life, we are presented with an opportunity that just CAN'T be passed up.
So it was with nixon and the 1932's.
NO WAY I was gonna let THAT slip by me.

Now, y'all get off my lawn !

I always like the (score mentions 1932's) in the LANCERO VITOLA...I STILL HAVE SOME ORIGINAL PEPIN ROLLED ONES, THE # OF WHICH is very limited and I'm saving them for a special occasion...
Like : WHEN THE FBI-SSG RETURN( WITH INTEREST)
MY $MILLION++ IN CASH THEY STOLE FROM MY HUT IN 2013...

**"THE WOMAN" who got the box for a dollar???
We need more "backstory"...
WAS SHE HOT?
WAS IT A FLUKE AT A CIGAR SHOP?
WAS IT AT AN ESTATE AUCTION?
WAS IT AT AN AUCTION HOUSE IN A "BOX LOT" BOX?
WHAT STATE WAS IT PURCHASED IN?
ANY other cool info would enhance the story,
I did not read the entire thread..

Jonesy . . .

The story about the lady that bought the (empty) box was fabricated by me to enhance the surprise for nixon.
The cigars came from dr.smac's "clearance sale".
