Got a box (10) a while back......34.99....delivered....the MB3 place.

Very nice cigar, and may be the best constructed perfecto I have ever smoked.
Like many other reviews, I got cedary dry wood flavors, sweeter finish notes in the middle third (fruity, floral) and a hint of baker's spices throughout. Others talked about pepper and coffee??.....I didn't get any of that.
Medium body, medium nic to me, lots of cool smoke.....dry finish.

Worth $3.50 each for sure imho.
If that deal pops up again, I'll be grabbing another box or two.

Carry on...

I bought two boxes during last sale...burned through 3 or 4 STICKS so far......."dry finish" is accurate...the rest...not so much....tastes much cheaper than MSRP....I get a little bit of half-ashed charcoal, also...there's a familiar harshness that won't go away with age.....I seem to recall that edge from something very old and cheap in the CI time machine.....I will post back when I remember what it reminds me of....

Are you calling me.........a liar?????
heh heh........
Guess I got lucky with my box?
Although, this cigar got good reviews, in fact very good reviews, from all the usual places I go to read/research a CIGAR........(if I need info on STICKS.......I go to my local lumber supply.)
I like em, and noticed a softer draw works best......it did burn easily, and evenly.
I may smoke another one this evening.

Pretty good stogie, especially at that price...fits nicely when I go for a 4 mile walk, about an hour and a half...construction holds up even when an occasional wind kicks up...and KOTC is right: better to take soft puffs and give it some rest in between because I got too much smoke and some heat and harsh notes when I pulled too hard...

Well I smoked a second one a while ago...
Musta got jinxed by dstieger gaddamit!
No bakers spices, no fruit/floral notes in this one.......just cedary wood notes.....the whole way.
Perfect construction again, perfect burn, draw, etc.
Now I'm gonna have to smoke 2 or 3 more before deciding on getting another box.

If they are Iike the first one.....I'm in..............if they're like the one I just smoked........I'm out at 3.50/each.

Great day so far. Yes it don't take much to please me.... {{{ I wonder if that is why the wife keeps coming into my office and trowing down Tupperware bowls and wooden spoons and mumbling here play with these.....

KOTC and Delta,
I've revisited a couple more of the Uncle Lee's and you're correct. They do smoke a lot better when sipped. Nothing to write home about, but worth what I paid....not bad...thanks

Just fired one up for breakfast. If the band was off the cigar I would think I was smoking a $20 Davidoff. I loved it. Looking on line to buy more now.

I've smoked 2 more.
Both were better than the second one I smoked, which may have been a dud, or my palate was off?
When they're back on at 34.95 with free delivery, I'll probably snag another box...........or 2.

Well I just got word from my inside source, Davidoff has cleared the warehouse of all the Uncle Lee stogies. No more is to be had so if you find them anywhere that will be it.

For the newbs who don't know, a couple times a year, usually for a couple of days each time, that $79 price drops by $20 down to $59, and free shipping gets tacked on. THAT is when you stock up and grab multiple units.
