I'm afraid to admit, I haven't smoked it..........I have to admit I'm a little scared...how long am I gonna taste that thing?
The bad taste left in your mouth from the WOG will not last NEARLY as long as the bad taste left from the Patriots SB loss to the underdog Eagles !
I mean it smells pretty grapey but I'm not sure I'm up to itBARF!
However, I am nothing if not a man of my word
I have no doubts about that.
......I said I'd smoke it and I willd'oh! even if it kills me, and it might
I'll smoke it and post a review by next Sunday night
Well, unless you have a commitment with someone other than myself , I will show you that not ALL Eagles fans are bad, and I will let you off the hook. Unless your curiosity gets the better of you, just toss that WO in the trash, where it belongs !
(I had a delicious roast beef dinner earlier and don't want to ruin it)
Next weekend I'll have some frozen corndogs
My experience with frozen corndogs is that they taste much better when cooked. Less trauma to the dentures too.
and smoke that Grape White owld'oh!
You want me to send you the nub(or half that's left) as evidence??Laugh
Nah . . . We cool.

The Pope says cigarettes are bad and not to smoke em but cigars are ok because they do not impact the lungs. That's the gospel coming directly from my high priest so I'll smoke on.

Speaking of WHITE OWLS . . . How WAS that grape WO, Rick ?
You know . . . The one you said you would smoke if the Patriots lost to the Eagles in the SuperBowl. (which they DID !)

Well here we go John, getting ready to incinerate, er smoke. that Grape White Owl......Got my lighter ready, ashtray clean, 24oz PBR per Corey, and I'm off........This probably won't be that badLiar

Ok, done.......PLA- grape-like.....cut easy, PLD easy, flavor -like grape, but not.........1/3 very strange grape/Listerine flavor, but not quite as good as Listerine , 2/3 even stranger grape/Listerine/cedary flavor(but not in a good way), 3/3 grape-like/Listerine /cedary/gritty celery flavor(in an even worse not in a good way).......about a one hour smoke.
About halfway through my wife asked "What is that smell" I told her it was a Grape Cigar and she didn't believe me........she said "it smells like the stuff they put in Porta-Potties so they don't smell so bad."
I will say that it burned perfect, never went out and perfect burn line......in this case, not a good thing, because I had promised myself if it went out or needed a touch-up I wasn't going to do it!
Oh, and Corey's recommendation to pair it with a PBR was not a positive addition to the experience.......but to be honest I probably would drink another PBR before I ever give another thought to a Grape(or any flavor) WO.........
So that's it, my word has been kept........note to self......never make promises until you understand what your promisingd'oh! Not talking

Congratulations to John and the Philly Eagles=d> =d> .............debt settled........how long is this taste gonna last?

P.S. to be fair John let me off the hook in post#52, but I never had a GWO or a PBR, so I figured I could cross them both off my bucket list in one shot........definitely not one of my better ideasAnxious

You know what they say, fight fire with fire. So to get the taste out, all you have to do is light up another one. It's sound logic, I swear.

Nice review. The damn bucket list stuff is compelling. Makes you do things you might not normally do.

I've been doing some bidding this week just to try out the new system. I'm not having any issues with it except people keep overbidding my bids...

Oh well, can't win em all.

Agree. There are lots of good cigars being offered. For some reason, the winning bids look to be up by about 15-20%. Go figure.

I have picked up a bunch of Maduros over the last 2 weeks, along with a few extra necessities for keeping them. Between here and MB3 I probably have 200 cigars inbound. I hope that lasts until tax season next year. I didn’t do much bidding on them. I decided to snag things via Quick Buy and free fall. Sorry to whoever wanted that Adirondack Humidor. I wasn’t willing to take the chance of someone over bidding the quick buy price. It was too close to take the chance. But I should be done with my purchases for the year, I’ll do it again next year. Don’t ask what all I have inbound. Suffice it to say that I could open my own cigar shop with what’s coming. lol 😆

Oh, and PBR is only good if it is on tap. Especially if it’s chilled.
