Shana and some others DO work hard, I think, on trying to help get things corrected on the web page. So this thread is to post the blatant mistakes that pop up in the photos, Titles and descriptions, so that she, or someone else, can show IT or"management" what is going on. People have posted things like this elsewhere, but thought a thread dedicated to these mistakes would be useful so they would not burried deep in a more general thread. So here is the first one:

https://www.cigarbid.com...lermont-5-pack/2816965/

Also, if you post one, keep an eye on it to see if it gets corrected!

That was quick - corrected! (I saw that Shana was reading the thread) It DID have a photo of Exalaburs instead of Ave's

EDIT: Partially corrected. Photo was fixed but description (assuming the bid is for Ave's, is still wrong)

Newly listed are not necessarily newly listed as some in my watch list have appeared. Almost bought something tonight, but not sure what's happening here. Had one lot appear on winning and watch lot. It's taking too much time to look at what's available and then keep looking at newly listed. I can wait.

Crap is still crap.

Sven would tell you that it's their #1 seller and everyone loves them.

Marketing when done right is effective. Bait and switch is always a bad move.

Wow. Now they're getting titles wrong......which completes the trifecta I believe.
Only three parts to a listing
Pic
Title
Description

Still can't get this right?

Have to say, each and every-time someone has posted in the forum a bad photo it has gotten fixed pretty darn quick,. On the one I posted above, I let it sit for a couple days to see if anybody else noticed - nothing. Within 15 min of my posting above they had the pics switched, although as pointed out, the correct brand but not the correct vitola.

With all the cell-phone-bidding-newbies that the new site is attracting, they really need to double-down on making sure the right titles, descriptions and pics are there. ALSO, they need to stop showing a whole box of cigars or a fiver in the photo when the auction is for a single.

Yeah, I noticed Christy lurking soon after I posted a comment about Tony's catch, and within minutes it was fixed..............must be part of her job now...........I'm sure she's thrilled.
