Allman Brothers - Sept. 19, 1971 - State University of New York (SUNY) at Stonybrook, NY

The only official release with Duane Allman playing live on "Blue Sky." There is a bootleg called "Blue Sky Revival", recorded at the Warehouse in New Orleans on Sept. 16, 1971 that also contains "Blue Sky" and Duane.

73F / 73% RH / 0 mph - nice day but the rain is predicted to return over the weekend

SRV - May 2, 1990 - The Civic Center, Oklahoma City, OK

A little rough-around-the-edges audience recording but any recording of Stevie Ray is a good recording.

75F / 73% RH / 4 mph - feels chiller than what the Weather Bureau is reporting

Wolfgang???

While that is a recognizable piece by a master composer, my personal fave of his is Symphony 41 or as its known, the Jupiter Symphony. I love the nuances and the crescendos. This is his longest piece and I feel he put a strong effort to pull all the punches to differentiate himself from Johann Sebastian Bach. For all of that he is recognized in high regard for it. There is great debate as to if he ever performed it while he was alive. Imagine that. Well, Beethoven was deaf for most of his career...so there's that too.

I grew up in the Brockton Mass area, in the late 70's we used to go to this small bar all the time.....Roomful of Blues was like the house band, they played there all the time, a couple times a month......it was a $3 cover charge and worth every penny! They were like an 8-10 pc band with all the horns, piano, harmonicas, and Duke Robillard was the guitar player.......they always had us up dancing and having a good old time.........Good Times, thanks for the memoriesBeer

I've seen them here in Pittsburgh, four times. Excellent Horn Section (World Class!!!). They've had three different Lead Vocalists in those shows. My favorite is Sugar Ray Norcia (who is featured on "Switchin' in the Kitchen").

The East Bridgewater Commercial Club......used to be like a sort of Social Club back in the day.......held a lot of biker events there......Chowda' Fest, Chili Fest......They used to do a Spring Fling and a Fall Ball, both of which were basically big outdoor keggers with live music all day, about 4-5 bands during the course of the day.......it was $5 if I remember right, all you could drink and the music. They had food too,but I can't remember if that was included in the $5, but I wasn't there to eat Beer Beer Beer Beer Beer Beer ......I can't drink like that anymore, but back then I was thinking about going profog

It was still there 8 or so years ago.......I went to a Chili/Chowdah Fest Biker Bash Beer .......good time

I go tp a blues festival every year in NH's White Mountains, The White Mountain Boogie and Blues Festival, which is coming up the weekend of August 17-19 2018, if anyone is interested in a great day or weekend of the blues.

Anyway, Here is Anthony Geraci and the Boston Blues Allstars, with Sugar Ray on harmonica, playing at the 2016 Boogie-

Roomful of Blues played the Boogie in 2003----https://youtu.be/yVBDdu7H0hY

Some info on the Boogie https://www.whitemountainboogie.com/ It is a great time with some great musicBeer

Hits, yes . . . but Michael completely changed the sound of the band, and not for the better, IMO.
