lot's of trading happens here, and some random surprise bombing too. not everyone gets involved, but if ya get a truly great smoke, it is worth a tribute to the donor.

some never get involved in cigar talk, some never get involved in politics...you do what makes you comfortable.

is walking the beast a yo-yo trick or something much worse?

I think you have it confused with walking the dog (who just might be a beast).

...Shaun. Although I *thought* we had agreed on a trade, he RAOK'd me 3 T110s last year and wouldn't hear of me "completing" my end. Fabulous smoke. Excellent construction, nice draw, lots of smoke output, wonderful taste. Looking forward to ashing up my next one. Thanks again buddy!

I smoked the last cigar out of my grandfather's stash. It was a Charles the Great from Finck Cigar Company in San Antonio, TX. Not the greatest cigar by any means when they're brand new but he died eight years ago and I know he had it for quite some time prior.

It was an absolutely great cigar; it had a great draw and all the harshness mellowed out; it still had a reasonable amount of flavor to boot!

He would have been 95 this past week. Eternal Rest...

Sometimes, it's not about the cigar, but the story behind it, that makes it special.

...The Ladies of Moose Manor. We did a trade 3 years ago and they sent a boatload of goodies and smokes, among them an old band AF WOAM. A great smoke and one that I chose to ash up in honor of a h.s. classmate that suddenly passed last night.
