It is great. My understanding is that Binnys picked out a specific group of types of wines that they wanted to utilize the casks from. We actually have 5 different ones including the regular old world. All are tremendous IMHO.

Only have access to the regular but if the others are as good or better then all systems go.

ya bought the Kickin' Chicken?
$17 or 18 here. With the exact right amount of water drops, I thought it developed nicely...either that or Ron used that mind control machine on me again.

I don't drink whiskey, but Hubby is currently enjoying Pendleton 1910, a 12 year Canadian Rye. He says that it is very interesting, but he still prefers his old standby, Bullet Rye. Oh, and he always drinks his neat, no ice.

I never developed a taste for Single Malt. I have tried some 30 year high end stuff and still felt like it was as bad as Appleton Estate rum. Just not a fan.

I’ve got a bottle of the Peated. Same stuff, slightly higher ABV. It is remarkable.

I did. Purchased that bottle and a 2017 Old Forester Birthday bourbon to share at our youngest grandsons baptism last July.

Had bottles of some of the usual suspects and the two afore mentioned bottles out for the guest.

Lucky there was any left. The two cubs kept pulling these two out front and I kept pushing them to the back.

Was a great day but I do prefer the high end stuff to be gifted when ever possible.

Not astounding just have a few bottles. It does help to have a couple of cubs and wife that don't mind occasionally gifting a good bottle.

Did not catch the bot but nice play.

Thanks but yah, been tough to lose good friends and family. Part of life but still sucks.

Btw, John was the guy that knew Bobby Doerr and got those autographed pictures and cards that I sent to you and Ed a couple years back.

Edit: Here's an interview with John regarding authenticity of autographed sports memorabilia:

I was wondering why his name sounded familiar, though maybe he was famous.
Hope they're doing lunch again.

He's much younger but he went to our hated rival Catholic high school, so no way would I want to be related to him. Shame on you

Now should he win another championship, I may have to start doing some genealogy searching.... jester
