So, unless I brew a Wheat or Oats beer, I don’t drink any.

Shared a couple with the youngest cub last night.

1584 - Westbrook 7th Anniversary Chocolate Sea Salt, I would highly recommend and an excellent bomber value.

1585 - TenFidy BA, Enjoyed very much and prefer over their regular offering. Many thanks DED.

Tonight:

1586 - Founders KBS

1587 - Founders Backwoods ****

1588 - Off Color Brewing Coffee Dino Smores, another keeper. Will be picking up a few more of these.

1589 - DFH Bitches Brew, a little disappointed with this one. Not bad but not great. Will give another test drive in a couple of days.

Not a bad week for beer. Tried four new beers and three were keepers with one undecided.

1594- Lagunita's Gnarlywine

Barleywines are hit or miss, but this one was very good.

1595 - Lagunita's Imperial Coffee Stout

11.2% ABV yet very smooth.

A good lunch.

You guys hatein' on my Bitches Brew. I have to agree. Many years ago that was the beer that really started my interest in stouts. Somewhere along the way, they must have changed the recipe. The last few years it's not nearly as good as I remembered.

The mouthful is thin to me and taste was basic. I expected a lot from it though so my expectations may have altered my opinion.

1604- Founders Breakfast Stout (never disappoints)

Don't know why but expected something close to or equal to Beer for Breakfast as far as enjoyment.

1612 - Lost Abbey Farmhouse Lager

5.8% abv, with a very slight hop note to go with the malty goodness. You know it's hopped, but it doesn't taste or smell like a pine tree air freshener. I like it.

Damn, boy... how drunk are ya? That is 7.6% abv... and 64 oz would make me a bit tipsy, and I can put the beers away.
