What happened to Montecristo Artisian Series Batch #2?

I recently received an email advertising a box of Montecristo Artisians #2 for $6ea.

To my embarrassment, I purchased a box based solely on reviews that I now realize were for series #1.

Using my best google-fu, I can find very little information on the series #2... they range from $6-$18 each, but very few real world reviews.

Did this series fall on its face?

No...it was a pullback.

I appreciate your response, but I do not understand the implications. Would a pullback be synonymous with a "recall"?

Is a kipling a smaller version of a kipper ?

Ha! I can't hear the word Kipper without thinking of that old BBC series "Red Dwarf".

On the topic at hand, I just received my box of Artisian Series #2. They will be resting for a few days. I hope the pullback wasn't due to quality.

I was wondering the same thing. The other site had them on special and I almost bit. But I have been buying montecristo Pepe Mendez Pilotico toro at 4.50 a stick. So far haven't had any construction issues like some had said. Great flavor.
