..while this is NOT actually an overbid (some would say $4.70per for a Ave Maria Divinia Toro is), bidding on ALL 40 Packs of 5 is a little BOLD! $940 winning bid at present. I could think of a few cigars you can get on line at $4.70per that are better for that price. Not talking

Actually the 4.5" x 60 size is the only decent tasting size for that blend. If you HAVE to smoke this blend 10 or 15 for $23 is the norm. 5 for $23 means this guy needs someone to smash his head open with a ball peen hammer!

Not a huge overbid - but I saw a small combo of 5 RP 1990s with a Herf travel humidor.

https://www.cigarbid.com...ageherflighter/2845330/

$41.50 here, and it was $39 on CI.

Being the cigar bidding n00b - Think this thread now causes me to check other sites when bidding.

Why do people over bid on items that you they can buy directly from CI for a cheaper price? Ex. the fall spook spectacular sampler has 2 bids at $85.00 each, they can buy it outright from CI for $79.95. I'm sure CI loves these guys but I don't get it, maybe I'm the stupid one.Brick wall

Competition. Everyone wants to be the man. Been selling stuff on Ebay and Amazon since I was like 16, using my parent's credit card. This is how you do it.

Cigar Bid, THANK GOD, is set up as a SNIPING AUCTION. Other Auction sites give you a minute or two at closing time to enter a new bid if someone out bids you. That is BULL****. All that does is run up the price so the retailer can suck more money out of the bidders pocket. Every bidder can be patient and realize that the stogie they are bidding on most likely will be offered up again and again, and won at the DISOCUNTED auction price, as opposed to a fattened up, last minute bidding feud that runs the price up.

FREEDOM TO SNIPE IS AN AMERICAN RIGHT!!!!

Lol. Some auction sites are set up to fail. Try Gunbidder. Like 7 people buy almost every gun that sells on that site. I won a ton of stuff for ridiculously low prices when it first started. Not so much now. NO idea how it stays in business.

Well, i guess I do know. It's run by the guys from Budsgunshop.com. Otherwise it would have disappeared LONG ago.

I have many things in life to be thankful for but I think #1 would be money. If I feel like spending 20...30... or $40 on an $8 half ass cigar I just do.

You mean that deep shiny black platinum card. The one that looks like you can reach elbow deep into? I have only heard of it but never seen it. Kinda got a mystical vibe to it ya know. Like a unicorn.
