True. Yesterday I smoked a couple sub $2 Dunbartons, and I could swear that they tasted exactly the same as the $6 to $10 ones folks get here.

Who are we scaring? Well other than me when Hank said something about getting on his knees.

The mental photographer in my head took a snapshot and instantly I seen Hank with BJ lips like Angelina Jolie.... Made my Pee Pee shrink! Cursing Now feel like I need to shower in scalding hot water. Angry Blink Crying

Plain and simple . . .
The Penguins best players are better than the Flyers best players.
We can't blame "preferential treatment" for Crosby by the refs on his performance last night. Not talking

Sheesh, Hank, off your knees and start acting like a man. Sadly, things have changed over the past year, and most of the killer deals I used to snag are no longer possible. (Nope, it wasn't I who won those Pepin 1970 Belis last night for $3, while someone else paid $8, or that $7 Genises 5ver, or those $9 Saison 5vers, or those $3 Pepin Blues. Nothing to see here, move along.) Though I am enjoying those $29 boxes of Drew Estate rolled Nicaraguan cigars with the Ecuadorian Connie wrappers.

John,
Don't forget 2010. Boston manhandled the Flyers for the first 3 games. Flyers came back to win games 4, 5 & 6. Went down 0-3 in game 7, only to score 4 unanswered goals and take the series.

I thought you meant kissing his hand, so I guess the one you really meant was the c*ck ring (which I'm sure he got an excellent deal on).

It's hard when your team doesn't pass the eye test....like the Kings don't compare favorably to the Knights now...

but keep the faith...like the Flyers, the Kings came back from an ugly 0-3 a few years ago also...

^I didn't really expect the Flyers to beat the Penguins this year, but as a die-hard Flyers fan, I had to put cigars up for my team. It's called loyalty, plus Gummy is a deserving brother.

Back to the topic at hand. One package landed yesterday. The other one is suppose to land tomorrow, even though it was suppose to be 3 day priority.

Holy Freaking COW and WTF.....

I wake up just a few minutes ago and drag my sorry butt to my office to find a box sitting on my desk. I look at the label cause I have not ordered any thing and was not expecting nothing and see that its got Dpnewell's name on the box! I knew then one of those numbers was sent here, dang it!

I opened it up and yep... I Got to agree, you don't want this man to send you a box cause good God all mighty!

A total of 16 damn fine looking cigars, An awesome table lighter and a Palio cutter. Then a note that states about where I had posted about me not aging cigars and thus not having such. Also in the note reminding me of forum rules No return fire on RAOK's? Signed dpnewell. (I have not seen such a rule, are you making this up?)

At first glance and to give a small hint I see a La Perla Black Pearl that is wrapped in cedar with the purple foot band which is rare I think. A 601 Brass Monkey which I think was a limited... The list goes on and on.

I am not going to list them all here as I want to do a photo and a proper write up so I can try my best to do this justice.

First, all I can say is WOW, Chit, WTF and many other colorful words.

David, you have humbled me to say the absolute least sir. I do not deserve such by no means and I can not say Thank You enough for your kindness as it knows no bounds.

When people do things like this it means so much more to me than a gift, or a RAOK. Each cigar to me is a time that is given to me that I will have being at peace, A time I will hurt less, A time I will be able to think about people that I love and care for in my life, a time I can dwell on of the friends in my life and the ones I have lost. A time that I can realize no matter how bad things are how great my life has been.

Each cigar is time given where life as a whole is at its all time high. For myself in this day and age that is a rare thing. Thank you to all my BOTL that has done such and thank you David! You sir have given me time that I hold very close and dear to my heart.

An OR Black Pearl "Morado" ! =d>
GREAT cigar, with somewhat of a story behind it, here on the CBid Forum.
It's up there with the Cupido Tuxedos, Chris.
VERY rare, indeed !
You're gonna like it, I guarantee.

Nice job, Mr (Mrs) Newell .

^^Chris, you are a good brother, and you deserve a nice hit. You had mentioned that you did not have any aged cigars, so IIRC, I sent you 6 that have been aged between 3 and 10 years. They where together in one bag, and they should have stickers on them stating the age.

The Morado I sent you is the OR blend. They where last made in 2007. Here's an 4 page thread from '12 that explains everything.

http://www.cigarbid.com/...-Spotlight-REAL-Morados

No, the Brass Monkey is not really a limited edition. It's just some other place's exclusive. I was trying to fill in with some stronger full body cigars, as you mentioned you preferred that style.

I really love that lighter and have several that I won here for cheap. A compact table top that is somewhere between a full size table top and pocket lighter. I like that I can light maybe a dozen cigars between fills, where I'm lucky to get 2 or 3 lights from a pocket lighter. The Palio is also no big deal. If you know how to properly bid on them, you can pick them up here for "throw away" cutter prices.

Anyhow, just a little simple appreciation for a great brother. Hopefully you'll enjoy at least some of them. Oh, and forum rules (FOGS back me up, lol). No paybacks on RAOKs.

I do greatly appreciate it for sure David. You are correct on the recollection. Due to the fact I am still very new to the game of cigars I have not been in long enough to age cigars. Also due to current health I have yet gained the confidence that I will be around long enough to see the aging process so I smoke them as quick as I get them. As far as deserving such I never feel that way and I never will. Every single time that such has happened it humbles me greatly and honestly that feeling makes me realize how lucky I am.

Thank you for the link, I had read it this morning and got the history background. It was a good read no doubt. Seeing how every one was so disappointed in the change of the blend I am tickled to get to try the OR and get a taste of what it was meant to be.

You are so correct on the lighter. All I have is pocket lighters well until now. It is frustrating to have to refill so dang often. Not to mention when it comes to lighters I love silver. Maybe because I grew up at the end of the old Zippo days but the color lighters just seem to Fru Fru for my taste. I have done filled up the one you sent and have it here on my desk. That thing puts out some awesome heat and I cant wait to put it to use. I am hoping it will do the same for me as when I get to shoot a hand cannon. Make me feel like I got sum of my balls back!

I will not enjoy some of the cigars you sent, I will enjoy ALL of the cigars you sent! Oh and the FOG's seem to have a little different view of the "Forum Rules" The backup you got seemed a little weak to me, So I tell you what... Tell me who gave you my address and I will consider abiding by your version. Herfing

Again Sir, I do greatly appreciate this very very much to no end.
