Herfing I lit up this cigar which has a San Andres Oscuro wrapper and was instantly greeted with an amazing aroma of chocolate, nuts, and coffee. It was smooth as silk, with flavor abounding at every pull. It continued to impress with each draw, and left a delicate, gentle tobacco note on the tongue. This is possibly the best cigar Rocky has made to date, and I will savor these. The experience was like getting hold of your favorite dessert and being pleasantly surprised with the best experience ever. Such a flavor! I give it 4.5 stars. There was no harshness or bitterness to it. It has definitely bumped into my top 5.

I guess you have never enjoyed an RP Original Release '09 Winter Blend with PA Broadleaf wrapper. This is arguably considered the greatest cigar RP ever released.

With that said, I'm glad you enjoyed the Short Run. I enjoy San Andres wrappers, and your description is in my wheelhouse, so maybe I'll have to give one a try.

AGREED, that Winter Blend was fantastic.

Haven't had the short run, so can't tell ya anything about that, sounds good though.

Nice!

The sale on the Short Runs makes me laugh and think of Gurkha's. Sale for $40, and shows the normal price as $600...give me a break. haha

Believe me, a certain percentage of noobs fall for this.......and Hansotia knows it, and has known it for a long time.......it's part of his business model.

I really don’t care about the actual price, but they’re really good.

I don't either, just found it funny. Went ahead and got some. Looking forward to trying it.

Well, I will say this, it’s like getting hold of a box of San Cristobals for the price of a box of Diesels. Nothing wrong with the Diesels, but they definitely aren’t San Cristobals. lol
