Grand-kids are a real blessing...We are expecting our fourth grandchild soon. My daughter has a delivery date of May 5, 2018, but her first baby, Amelia, arrived a week early...so any day now...

Their second child is also a girl, and she's been named Mikaela. To celebrate, I will pass out a nice fiver to whoever guesses Mikaela's length (inches) and weight (lbs and ozs) at birth.

The winning number will be the person who comes closest to Mikaela's length in inches plus her weight in ounces. For example, a player makes a guess of 20 inches and a guess of 5lbs and 8 ounces. The total of the guess is: 20 + 80 + 8 = 108. (This is just an illustration and is not a tip off to the actual number).

The tie-breaker will be the person who guesses the time of arrival.

One guess per player.

Baby Mikaela Dee (muh - KAY - luh) couldn't wait any longer, and was more impatient about her debut than her older sister, arriving at 8:47pm. She was born within five minutes of arrival/check-in at the hospital. She measured 19.25 inches and weighed 7lbs and 1oz. Both the baby and mother are healthy, happy and hungry.

The winner is KingoftheCove, whose guess of 19 inches, 7lbs and 1oz totals 132. Mikaela's actual total is 132.25. PM your addy and I'll send your prize, Sir!

Thanks for all the well wishes, guys.

smh at DED's guess, thanks for the laugh, Bro! Mikaela is special, but she is not heavier than any substance known to man...

I smoked the toro...the Amazon Basin, and it was excellent...unique subtle flavor in the background that I really like, but can't define.

still sitting are the Anaconda and the Fuma en Corda...thanks for your thoughtfulness!

That's really funny, Huck! I worked with a couple of guys from New York when I was younger. Both guys had the New York accent...and liked to joke and kid around...but I could never tell if and when they were joking and kidding around...
