I assume the bill for Stormy Daniels is astronomical. Who is paying this bill? I doubt he is doing this pro bono. If I was a conservative/republican I would want to know and would want this to be public knowledge.

Attorneys don't have to disclose stuff like that.

Unless they are Trump's attorney.

That's because Trump is a public servant (Ha, Ha, Ha...) and there are laws requiring that such things be made public. fog

When this is all said and done, Avenatti's practice will be turning away business. The publicity and public airtime alone is worth millions...and he's a master of the craft of trying his case in the public court...letting his case out a little at a time to force his opponent into submission.

Who was that dude who successfully defended OJ...his practice expanded multiple times after the case...there is no shortage of people who need effective representation and have the money to pay...

I wouldn't be surprised...and it'll be ironic ... if he ends up working for Trump down the road.

Robert Shapiro? He deals from the bottom of the deck.
F. Lee Baily? He was disbarred.
Johnny Cochran? He's dead.
Bobby Kardasian? Dead and his clan turned a world class athlete into a tranny.
Barry Scheck? He's freeing innocent people from jail.

and

Alan Deshowitz? He's defending Trump in the court of pubic opinion.

Johnnie Cochran was the guy I was thinking about. His practice increased multiple times in the years following the OJ case...his surviving partner, a relative lightweight, Carl Douglas got rich...

Avenatti seems to have resources available to him that are beyond the normal scope of any lawyer. Are they from the alleged deep state? I find this disturbing and perhaps criminal.

Much like the leaks.......

I think Democrats underestimate voters who didn't like Trump but HATE this type of unchecked federal overreach. If the right and left could come together on that alone we might get the country back from insanity.

This

About 35-40 percent of the voters are independent. That's who elected Trump. Those are who polls neutral in presidential approval polls. As much as Hillary and the Dems want to blame everyone from taking the election from them, it's quite the opposite. They let the election slip away due to their message, of lack thereof.

Independents such as I have no party loyalty. Instead we vote based on the economy and our perception where we think the country will go based on who gets elected. The DEMs are naive to think that they can paint him as an amoral person and on that alone win the election.

Right now he's winning. People are spending the crumbs they got, industry is expanding, North Korea is at the bargaining table, he has put one justice on the court and may very well put another one soon, he's stood up to Putin over Syria, etc...

At the end of the day the only polls that matter are the ones in November every 2 years.

I'm not defending Avenatti. I used OJ as an example of how a lawyer can represent a deplorable and reviled client and get wealthy doing so. Daniels was a nobody going nowhere...who wants to pay for MILF and cougar porn???, which were her only real prospects for employment. She just got lucky and ran into a philandering rich guy when she was in her prime. Although Trump denies anything happened, she realized her meal ticket 10 years later, when the rich guy ran for President...Avenatti weaseled her former attorney out of the way, recognizing a gold mine himself...

Sure, Cochran is dead...so is Roy Cohn...another lawyer with questionable morals but honed legal skills and instincts...I consider Avenatti, Cochran and Cohn as peas of the pod. Trump has openly pined for another Roy Cohn, who represented him years ago when he was accused of discrimination in renting out his apts...Trump is in a much deeper legal quagmire now...........................and Cohn ain't showing up anytime soon...
