Sorry, couldn’t tell you. Although I have a couple of them, haven’t ashed one up yet.

Been meaning to smoke one but keep forgetting to pull one from the cooler. d'oh!

49179~ (yesterday) Gurkha Empire series II. Forgot how good these were. Gritty semi-sweet chocolate with a hint of pepper.

49180~ Caldwell The King is Dead. Really like the start, reminds me of a Fuente magnum R with a different wrapper taste. Noticeable sweet but not too much.

New or old stock? Before my exile in '14, these where one of my favorites. Now that I'm back, I grabbed a couple current production 5vers. I've tried to smoke 3, but all I get is charred charcoal and turpentine. I'm ready to toss the other 7.

That one was from 2015. It was decent for a 2 dollar cigar, but as far as Buesos go I like the habano better. I have one left of the Project and a half a box of the Habano left. The habonos are from January 2017, just before the "Cbid meltdown". It's rare for me to get a perfect Bueso (taste, construction and burn) but all in all I think they're worth the price, at least the price I paid for them. If I ever buy from here again I'd probably still keep the habanos on my list.

^Thanks, Robert. So it was old stock. The new ones are terrible. I did win a 5ver of the Habanos, but have not tried one yet. At least now I have some hope that the Habanos will not be anywhere near as horrible as the Project.

I liked them fresh as well, only buried a 5er for later too. Perdomo is an underrated cigar imo
