Wishing Hells on Wheels had 4 more seasons.

Working my way through 13 Reasons Why season 2. Pretty solid. Next up is Riverdale Season 2.

Couldn't get into Rain or Requiem...may go back to them if I can't find anything better to watch.

Queen of the South - pretty much hate that, too....wouldn't be better than nothing, except that the wife likes it. Bigger story has potential, but the dialog and sloppy plot holes kill it

Finished Crown Season 2 - very good
Finished Safe - wanted it to be so much better....my expectations were too high

Finished Safe too - I thought the suspense in the beginning was great, but it slowly started to fizzle.

Finished the first season of Rain.

Thanx for that RMAN -- I figured Perfect Strangers was something from Skinimax.....just looked it up -- I was out of the overseas for most of the 80's and a good bit of the 90's....I don't think I missed much good tv based on what I've seen from those decades since

The Americans

Just might be my favorite series ever. Too early to tell for sure, since the series finale was only last night....and time will affect my impressions, but I am positive it will be way, way up there.

Not sure if earlier seasons are on Netflix, but certain that we saw first couple/few seasons on Prime.

Not uncommon for my wife to shed a tear at a show or movie....but she was bawling last night. I thought the finale was superb. The show was just so on point at so many different levels -- you could like it as a simple spy thriller....or a family drama....or psychological expose....I'm very sorry to see it go, but I give them big props for letting it go while on top of their game

There’s a very good documentary on the battle of the Chosin Reservoir on Netflix, I was impressed, but they left out a lot, I guess that’s how it goes, when you try to cram 35 books on the subject into a 2 hour special.

They should have taken their time with it and done a mini series documentary on it.

+1......I hate it when a series outlives its appeal or ends abruptly with no closure. It was perfect.............although I could see a Netflix or Prime doing a follow up season ........you know why,I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't finished the series.

Thanks a lot Burner and Whistlebritches, you arse hats. I turned this on a few days ago due to your recommendations. I'm now starting episode five of season four. Dudes, I have better things to do then to binge watch some Prime show, but I can't turn the dang thing off.

Does anyone else see a similarity between the characters of Frank Bosch and Dr. Gregory House? It's as if they took the House character and decided to make him a detective. I bet Hugh Laurie would have been equally as interesting in the role.

I have been pissed at Netflix for over a year since they took it off.

Very little TV or movies, even, that I watch more than once. Firefly is a huge exception - been through the series 3-4 times, probably. Was on Netflix (along with Serenity) for years and suddenly disappeared about a year and a half ago.

Just began Season 2 of Better Call Saul. It is good, BUT....they better get him off this stupid victim train; he's a far better character when he's calling the shots, shuckin and jivin

I'm in the same boat with netflix... when my streaming site got taken down and the wife signed us up for hulu and prime, I suddenly realized where all the stuff netflix had gotten rid of ended up at... the wife puts friends on about once a week as background noise while she's going to sleep... that's what our $9 a month pays for...

Coming Friday, July 6th... Somebody Feed Phil The Second Course. His first two series where great. If you enjoy food/travel shows with a comedic twist, this one is a can't miss. Phil Rosenthal (the host) is the guy who produced Everyone Loves Raymond.

Half way thru...

"High Rise"

Time period peace...SET IN circa 1970 London England.
A new modern high rise building gets built by a famous rich architect ( Jeremy irons)
Low income on bottom ...the higher up you go becomes richer and richer renters...
Very weird plot , but better than ANY MAJOR NETWORK TV OFFERINGS...

Wife asked me to join her watching a series she just started and was enjoying....I went in and saw the title "Marvel something"...Luke Cage - I said, "I thought you don't like superhero stuff?".

She said that it isn't....at least not hokey like other superheros....the guy doesn't wear a mask or fly.....jeeez.....five minutes in and the guy was hit by thousands of rounds of ammo and was throwing pieces of concrete around that were the size of a dishwasher....but at least it isn't hokey....I dragged her back to Better Call Saul....we better be completely out of stuff to watch before I consider watching any more Marvel anything. Besides, the story was tired, the dialog was bad and the acting awful -- I like the guy who was Remy in House of Cards (and also in Hidden Figures), but his acting here is cringe worthy.
