2018 is nearly half done...any recommendations for a good new cigar? New means something released in 2017 to the present...or it could be an older release that you've tried for the first time this year.

I forgot to list one...I haven't tried too many new cigars, but of the 2017 and later releases, the Espinosa Laranja Reserva stood out among them. I liked the Caixa and the robusto.

Another stand-out new to me that I tried for the first time this year, but one released several years ago, was the Viaje Oro Reserva Aficionado (churchill). Excellent cigar.

I've posted on 2 cigars that are in my wheelhouse.

The Intensa has become a steady favorite of mine lately. 2 boxes and getting ready for 3!

The other is a cigar called Army of Angels.

Both are really good cigars.

I really enjoy the Laranja, particularly the Robusto Extra. The corona is also tasty. The Toro seems to be the weak link in the line up. Haven’t had the churchill or the Caixa, which, I think, is box pressed? I’ll have to pick some up.

Dunbarton’s Todos Las Dias is, for me, the best cigar of the last few years, but I would understand based on strength and flavor if people disagreed. I’m on box 8 (but they are only 10 counts).

I like that Sans Pareil. Not the overly expensive ones, but I think it's a Lonsdale with the purple band. Packs a lot of punch in a little cigar.

Thought I was gonna enjoy the Micallef cigars from Gomez Sanchez but so for I've been dissapointed with those. Looks like a lot of people weren't happy because a lot of locations have dropped them over the past three months.

Powstanie had one that came out in 2017 that was pretty good too.

A lot of people are crapping their pants over Southern Draw's Rose of Sharon. Haven't had one yet but it's all the buzz.

Atabey released some new vitolas including Lancero. I kinda feel like these are outperforming a lot of Cuban Cohiba offerings right now in terms of flavor and quality.

Admittedly I haven't really tried anything new lately. I did try one of those Laranja Reserva's though thanks to corey sellers, I thought it was pretty good. I would probably buy some if I ran into a deal (haven't actually looked how much I can get them for).

Newest released cigar I have had was the Sobremesa. I think it was very good and would smoke more of them. Also had a 2017 LC46 and it was a good cigar, I’m looking fwd to the 2018 LC46 releasing soon if not already.

Pretty sure this falls within the “relatively new release" timeline: All Out Kings, a collaboration between DE & Caldwell. Quite tasty.
