(Bourbon) I bought a bottle about 3 yrs ago and I tried to make it last but it came to an end.
Any help finding some would be very appreciated. It's usually gone as soon as my local places get it. Thanks

Elmer was my go to several years ago. Had two shpos nearby who always seemed to have plenty, and would also see it here and there.

Then Elmer died.

My regular places would call me when they got some, but they were getting short shipped and sometimes just getting one or two bottles.

called or emailed the distillery, they emailed a list of "nearby" places they thought had recently received some. Most had not. Found one place that had a single bottle marked $50...I had been paying $24 for a couple of years at the time. Didn't buy it, haven't seen a single bottle in MA since.

TW sent me a bottle back then, and I apologize if I have forgotten anyone else who may have hit me with a raok, but it's been years now.

Not sure it would even taste the same without ol' Elmer dipping into those barrels right up until the very end.

If I'm not mistaken, you sent me a bottle a few years back. Very nice. The next time I'm in NC, I'll have to check the ABC store. Big selection and some hard to find stuff.

Did you check your local Total Wine? They show it as a "when available" item for $34.95.

Next time I'm down to my Mr. Airy home, I'll check the ABC store in Yadkinville. From what I've been told by the locals, it's one of the best around. I've been there several times and they have a large selection and some hard to find stuff. Too bad Riverdawg isn't on the boards anymore. He's only a few miles away.

If you find it and want to part with some I'd be very willing to take care of you for it.
I did check Total Wine and all the others around me everybody had it and said it was gone in no time. I can't order it of I find it online because MD is a no ship state.

Here on the gulf coast it seems that ETL is being released in very limited quantities on or at the same time as Pappy and the Antique Collection releases. And that would be in late Oct or Nov time frame.

The same here in Maryland but there was just a release of 4-6 bottles to a few locations and they were gone within an hour of hitting the shelf.

$75 plus shipping seems to be the rate for ETL right now. I haven't seen a bottle for a long time and when I did they were asking $50 or something outrageous like that for it so I passed. It was good at $25, decent at $30, and just ok at $35, and a pass on every price after that for me.

I absolutely will make a donation.

Doesn't mean something may or may not head out in return as well.
