La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amors last price was 27.50 for a fiver..... as I remember you can pick up 25, for about 4.70 each at multiple sites. Oh, and I bid on a box of My Father Le Bijou 1922, out bid costs more than buying them off of other sites... I swear, these guys can keep their bids, over bidding is the worst...

Kinda weird.

The weekly special of 25 Undercrowns started at $89 and is now up to $95 when the exact same 25 cigars can be found on Freefall at a low of around $73?

This one gets a special nod since so way over the (ridiculous in itself) MSRP which is listed right in the description! No need for a search to see you screwed up. Also, this doesn't look like one of those "typo" overbids where someone just hit too many zeros.

Some of those are truly insane... surely they have to get refunds or not get charged on some of those when they realize their mistake. I’ve seen some crazy ones myself, like Java mint singles for $40 each. I know it says something about bids being final, but surely they don’t get charged for a mistake like that, right?

$19.50 at CI

I bought those as yard gars a a few times... but I was buying them at DPNewellesque... can't even imagine paying 19.50 for a 5er. Or even 19.50 for a 10er... and not gordos.

^In my defense, I never cared for the robs. The only one I would bid on ($1 max) was the Petite Corona. The small RG had deep rich flavors. The larger ones where blah.

Lots of overbids now that the weather is good. For the past several months I've been killing it here, but I'm now done till the cold weather returns. Cigars I've been winning regularly for $1.50 are now closing at $3, $4, even $5. Ones I was winning at $2 - $2.50 are now going for $6 to $8, and the $3 to $4 ones are going for $10 and up. Good for Cbid, but not good for poor smucks like me.

Does anyone have any clue what their policy (in practice) is on massive over bidding like that (whether accidental or otherwise)? Ie those people who think they’re bidding on a box or a 5er, when the auction is actually for a single.

Troll.

The B&M doesn't sell tobacco products. Never has, never will. For them, tobacco is public enemy number one.

So, you're saying this is too much to pay for a cutter, $400?
(No, actually it's 3 cutters for $1,200)
It says right there in the Description that it's a reasonable price!

Great quality, reasonably priced

What do you look for in a cigar cutter? The most precise, smoothest, cleanest cut possible? You’re probably going duh, right? Well, the Viper V-Cutter does exactly that. Featuring a stainless steel v-shaped blade and v-configured edge, Viper’s concave edge cuts from the outside in to deliver precision at up to a 60 ring gauge. It’s conveniently lightweight and comes equipped with an integrated key ring to take with you on the go. A durable rubberized matte finish in multiple colors completes this reliable cutter.

One thing they forgot to mention, though: this Colibri V-Cutter cannot be sharpened, since removing the blade would destroy the framework which is permanently molded, and nobody sharpens such shaped blades when they're all surrounded by plastic like this. Therefore it's a throw-away, good for cutting maybe 500 cigars then it's cigar cutter heaven time. Incidentally, that means you're adding 80 cents to the price of each cigar you cut with this turkey. And if you're not careful at the end of it's sharp cutting days you keep trying to use it, you could ruin a $30 Graycliff Grand Cru, pissing you off some, or perhaps a lot.

Maybe the buyer really likes the Cigars International smiley icon ---> Herfing
Maybe that and the keyring feature make it worth the price of 5 boxes of H. Upmann Churchills.
Bottom line, when ML of Newport KY starts bidding, throw in the towel and wait for better days.
That is, unless you're KingoftheCove, who thinks high prices are for "REAL men."

Didn't want to start a new thread but maybe I should.
I got a bit tweaked yesterday at a Jack-in-the-Box restaurant with free wifi -- tried to log in here but the server's firewall blocked this website, reason = "TOBACCO"
I sent an e-mail to Customer Service to let them know some of their customers might be having trouble finding access to the website because of VIRTUAL political correctness.
For them seeing tobacco online is worse than seeing areloas online. Go figure.
Is that material for a new thread?
Or would I be drawing attention from the spies who are actually enemies bent on attacking our way of life?????

I have found that Sam's Club will sucker you in to their wifi then block this Site. Also don't try to access this Site on a hospital wifi.

We can start a list!

So, it's wifi at:
Sam's Club
Jack-in-the-Box
hospital
Maybe public libraries?
So far, not Starbucks -- but that could certainly change!

In the European Union this factory will be closed and the capanga that is talking in the court. Continuous inhalation of tobacco dust creates many diseases, respiratory diseases, mainly and cancer. Workers there do not have any protection in their nose to impede access of raw tobacco dust and gloves to protect the skin.

Yes because you live in a nanny state that would rather see people lose jobs than make their own choices as to whether or not they wish to take a risk and make money.
