Hey all. New guy here from Indiana. Got back into cigars from a long hiatus. Looks like lots of new things out there.
A little about me.
1st name is Michael
I’m an elevator mechanic
My profile is mainly mild/medium
I try to stick to the corona, Lonsdale, robusto
Love the Cameroon wrapped cigars but findInf one as an everyday smoke seems to be a little difficult.
Look forward to reading and relearning about this wonderful hobby.

Welcome from a fellow Hoosier. Region rat myself.

Just wrapped up 4 days camping at Turkey Run, then a stop in Indy to do laundry and restock, now out in Ohio.

Going home in a few days to fulfill my employer's demands, then off to Michigan.

Hello new guy from Indiana!

(got nothing bad to say about Indians).

Welcome!

Also, I have nothing bad to say about anyone who helps get men up for a living, honorable profession.

Welcome! Take any abuse you receive with a smile and you’ll do fine. Stick around because, almost to a man, the guys here are fantastic.

If I might suggest, although I don’t delve too deep into either Cameroon wrappers or mild/medium (other than the occasional morning Connecticut), give the Perdomo La Tradicion Cameroon a try. Don’t think they sell them often here, but eminently affordable and quite tasty. But a single or fiver first, they may be stronger than your wheelhouse, however. Fuente is famous for their use of Cameroon, but there’s something about them that doesn’t click with me. There are several Fuente fans here that can steer you in the right direction there.

I have pretty thick skin. And thank you.

I will check out the Perdomo. Right now I've been smoking the RP vintage 2003. Great stick but a little expensive for a daily smoke. I've also had the A. Fuente reserva Don Carlos. And that was pretty awesome. Oliva serie g is another one I've had recently. I will be trying a little of everything if possible. Think I may need to get another Humidor...
Thank you again.

Top left corner. Gary, IN.

Stopped at in laws in Brownsburg to regroup.

Think we're going to break up the drive home from Cincinnati on Monday and overnight near Fort Wayne. I work week on week off schedule, so we go camping a lot. I get around.

Fortunately NO. That was actually provided by a company called Muzak. We did however provide the speakers.

I had a friend named Ray who was an elevator mechanic ... his company did a lot of work in Nevada (quite a few large hotels there) but it turned out he and his wife were not well suited for life in constant close proximity to so many opportunities to gamble and they suddenly seemed to fall of the face of the earth ... I've always wondered if maybe Ray got in bad with some guy named Vinny and got relocated to a small below ground home out in the remote desert ...

That sucks. I hope he was able to kick the addiction, without having to relocate.

Did you stop by the shpo in Brownsburg? My favorite in the greater Indy Area.

Never have. The one off 267?

I haven't bought any US market cigars in several years, so I don't really frequent shpos

Yes 267/green st just south of the 74 exit ramp.

I don't go to many but always stop by that one when I'm driving through.
