was he talking about Russia, Trump's favorite country?

Yeah, Putin along with Philippine leader, Rodrigo Duterte, Xi Jinping of China, Kim Jong Un, North Korea, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey, even praised Sadam Hussein for his handling of terrorists.

Good people on both sides..

Oh? Thought it was 'some very fine people on both sides'.

Rewriting History? Ridiculous.

You're even starting to sound like trump.

Excerpt from Obama's recent speech in South Africa:

“Look around. Strongman politics are ascendant suddenly, whereby elections and some pretense of democracy are maintained but those in power seek to undermine every institution or norm that gives democracy meaning,”

Many Western countries are experiencing the rise of far-right parties, he said, adding that these parties “oftentimes are based not just on platforms of protectionism and of closed borders but also barely hidden racial nationalism.” Some key indicators of this are the attacks on the free press and the use of social media to promote “hatred, paranoia and propaganda.”

Nah, lets go with the truth, the original statement. Not the attempt to walk it back because he was supporting white supremicists and most of the country saw him for what he is.

Ignore the stock market, ignore the job reports, ignore the fact there's less people on welfare in 40 years and condemn the man for stupid tweets... the resistance is strong... Mellow

Watched the video Frank.. it looks to me like statements were literally taken out of contents to create outrage.. it was pretty clear to me what he was trying to say... To say anyone who opposed the statue coming down is a nazi is just wrong... Mellow

Drafter, I have never thought he said everyone on the one side was a Nazi. My take is this. If you would march with a Nazi you aren't a good person. Actually I thought the same of the other side. Not everyone on the other side was ANTIFA. If you would march with ANTIFA you aren't a good person. I wish those marching in support of the statues or opposed to the statues had marched at a different time. I also wish that the march had been peaceful. I know even if I felt strongly about an issue I would not march with Nazis or ANTIFA.

It’s the fourth year in a row SNAP participation fell. This didn't magically begin with Trump. Read that at the Daily Caller. Conservative site...

You do realize that your saying he's good for the economy is like saying the dictator Mussolini was a great leader because he made the trains run on time.

When you factor in places where Trump has been horrible ie the environment, not disavowing white supremists, the Helsinki debacle, the likely truth that he's in Putin's pocket, his disrespecting America's friends and members of NATO, his trade wars that are killing some farmers (ie soy) his rude bullying and stupid schoolyard-like knee-jerk responses to people, (setting an example for kids and bullies everywhere ) his constant lying and demonizing the 5th estate, the separation of young children from parents at the border....damn dude....the list is endless..but he did cut taxes...right?

You I guess think that because welfare rolls are down or the stock market is healthy it's a good tradeoff? I think the long term damage this guy's done will far outweigh any temporary economic bump. Any reduction in the amount of food stamps distributed.

And btw, only presidents in recent history that didn't have great first years were Reagan and W. Otherwise most did.

https://money.cnn.com/2017/12/29/news/economy/presidents-first-year-economy/index.html

The stock market has something but not everything to do with Trump.
But not likely you can accept that I figure.
Everything else I've said I'm sure you're on board with.

So if and when the economy tanks, recession sets in, or more food stamps have to be issued, will that also be Trump's doing? I doubt it.

Maybe Obama's....Or.... Hillary's...

Trump's bad, improvised hairbrained policies and blunders have completely outweighed his achievements. Trump is a complete failure. We look stupid thanks to him.

Did I mention Russia?
