Don't let these elitists get to you BS. I think it's an interesting cigar, but not at current prices. I'll wait until I can find one for $2 - $3 before trying.

Here's an interesting observation on the original Diablo. I did a ton of research on them years ago. From what I could find, the blend was similar to the Cohiba XV, and they where both blended by the same guy. When the Diablo didn't sell, General issued a recall, with the expectation of relabeling and re-boxing them as the XV. Eventually, General just sold off all the recalled cigars to that other place for cheap, and continued the blend with a few tweaks as the XV.

Well, apparently I haven't put any deep thought into them yet. BigGrin

And I recall liking the Cohiba Extra Vigoroso a long time ago.

Here's another interesting thing. Just like the original Diablo and the Cohiba XV, the new Punch Diablo uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and a Connecticut Broadleaf binder. Filler leaf is slightly different and it is blended by AJ. Makes me wonder if it's a tweak on the old Diablo and Cohiba XV. Looks like one I will have to try.
