I've heard both good and bad about Rocky Patel, and Drew Estates. What do you guys think. I've heard quality up and down. What about Camacho? Davidorf usually is rock solid.

Rocky Patel has some good stuff, not all is amazing. Drew estate also has a few excellent gems, especially their Liga Privada line, Camacho has an amazing Triple Maduro, but some have a slight tinny after taste, I personally am looking at trying their Nicaraguan Barrel aged. I don’t know Davidoff. But take it from a guy who enjoys the darker side, there are some good gars out there.

The American Barrel Aged is great and better IMO than the Nicaragua. Have not tried the tripple maduros but heard good things. Other Camachos not bad but don't compare to the originals before they sold out.

RP Vintage Cameroon 2003 is very good and often find really good deals. Great golf course cigar - flavorful but does not go out ever it seems - DON'T fall asleep smoking this one!

RP Sun Grown Maduro is outstanding. Much more complex than most maduros.

Ligas are excellent but I think overpriced.

I definitely agree with them being over priced. Nearly 300 for a box of Churchill’s no matter what site.....

what is this???? Rocky Patel makes dozens of different blends as does Drew Estates. Camacho makes almost a dozen front line blends. Anyone who judges a cigar by who makes it is a fuc*ing idiot! Plus you don't compare $20 per stick Davidoff with $8 to $10 per Rocky Patels, Camachos, or Drew Estates. You compare them to other $20+ per stick brands like Padron, and anyone that spends $20+ on a Davidoff instead of a Padron is also a fuc*ing idiot. have a nice day bud!

Davidoff is great when you want to pay $30 for a cigar with no discernible flavor.

However, their recent Nicaraguan offerings are different. THOSE are great when you want to pay $30 for a cigar with the flavor of a $5-8 AJ Fernandez cigar.

So yeah, I really don't get why anyone buys them, even the "good" Nicaraguan ones.
