Hey Guys,
What is the longest time, it has taken for a package, shipped priority mail, to reach it's domestic destination. I sent a package, on the 11th of this month, from Arkansas, to Fargo ND. It has yet to reach it's destination. Anyone else had this happen?????

USPS Guarantees their Priority mail to be delivered in 3 days, if it has gone longer I would suggest contacting the local PO where you shipped from, tell them it has been well over the 3 days. I don't know what they can do, if the package got lost in a warehouse they be able to tell, their tracking information online is pretty lame. I hope the box is not lost.... that would suck!!!!

Homebrew...

Are you sure it didn't go pony express? After all, we are pretty backwards up here in NoDak. Maybe it was intercepted by a tribe of wild indians... :)

I went online and they said that they guarantee nothing (big surprise). They said it's not "technically" lost until 15 days, and there is no way to "track" it besides the scans that are done at drop off and delivery. After dozens of packages sent and received - I've never had one take more than 4 days.

I would LOVE for others to let us know....

WHAT!!! Not guaranteed? Those sonz of .........
A while back I had something similar happen to me, package did arrive, about 5 days late. I went to the PO and raised hell before and after ( I was very polite.....). I was given a numbere to call and complain, they advised me to ask for a refund, I desisted when I found out the paperwork I had to fill out, #$@! burocrats!! It sucks how the mail can false advertise!! I just hope the box gets there.

I almost always ship first class. At least from the Chicago area there doesn't seem to be an advantage in shipping priority.

Once I shipped three packages at the same time, one was priority and the other two went first class. They all got to their destinations at the same time.

Well, first of all Isabel is a hurricane, and secondly the package is going from Arkansas to N. Dakota... I don't think she's made it that far...

So....anyone else experience delays before????

Homebrew,
I used to use nothing but UPS until I found out that packages that were shipping across the US were taking upwards of 2 weeks to get there. I ship out about 15 packages a month using USPS priority and they usually get most places in the US in 3-4 days.
If I ship anything important or of value, ie; diagnostic tools, expensive things, etc., I always insure and get a tracking slip.
I have yet to have any problems with anything I shipped thru the post office.

I have had late priority shipments twice. Both times from Minn. to Ca. First time it took about a month and the second time it took almost 3 weeks.

Hey Guys,
as of this posting, it has been 8 days, from Arkansas to ND. Ethans boxpass has been sidelined by the USPS. I initiated a trace, on the package yesterday, hopefully it will show up soon.

Homebrew,
If it is any consolation, I had a 120 GB hard drive that was shipped from PA to here on UPS and they lost it. After jumping thru their hoops and all, the company sent me another one that made it. All total, from the time I ordered until the time it actually showed up was 5 weeks.

I have had 2 that took a couple weeks. Both times, it was pilot error as the sender had put the wrong zip code (missed by one number).

This is really beginning to suck. EMOTR Box Pass, is being held hostage, by the U.S. Postal service. That's what I get for Shipping it out, on 9-11. This makes it 11 days, from Clarksville Arkansas, to Fargo North Dakota. Still no delivery.

Knock on wood, I've had great success with Priority. I never knew them to guarantee it, though. In fact, when I asked CBid to ship one of my orders that way, they warned me that it won't be guaranteed and trackable like UPS. For something like $2 more, it beat UPS's usual time by about 3 days.

I definitely prefer priority mail, but next day air is always nice as well.
