When I remember the "Red Wave" voted into Congress with that idiotic leader named
Newt Gingrich ( who has tamed down a tad in recent years, thank god)....and his chant of
"Stop PUBLIC FUNDING OF THE ARTS AND PBS"..
It makes me cringe at the short sightedness of powerful influential morons when they come into power...
This Mark Twain TV show is the proof that Republicans had their heads up their kiesters all during the 90's...so much so that just looking back on it is V.E.R.Y. depressing.
Narrated by Keith David ( who played the field grunt "King" in the Oliver Stone Vietnam movie Platoon) does a stellar job.
