Here is my new top shelf with the cigars from the OPFTH auction cigars.

Had to bump a few things to make room for them.

So this is a picture of my "collection", though it's ever changing because I pick off it from time to time.

Um......................ain't no top shelf without the CAO Brazillia!

Other than that, there's a few yard gars in there I'd smoke............if I was desperate.

Heh..........nice haul!

You must be blind, there are 4 tats in the picture (1 got bumped).

(Cbid size restrictions might explain your blindness though).

Brex? RC? What's the 3rd? One of the TAA's?

Pretty AF/Padron heavy...overrated?

Oh yeah....and 'look at me' ......lol

TAA 50th, RC, CQ1 and bumped a TAA 2014.

There were more tats on there at one point, but I smoked them.

... But I like Padrons and Fuentes :P

Edit (noticed your edit):

Yes, look at me!!!

Showing off my cigars in a cigar forum, oh the shame.

The secretos was a filler smoke underneath (can only fit smaller cigars under the big ones), but the chille pepper Opus replaced it. The secretos got smoked on Sunday.

Unfamiliar with the CQ1 - have you smoked others? Impressions?

I thought I was over Pete's one-offs, but couldn't pass up adding to mine with Zito's auction

Not completely, but yes, pretty much blind... thank God for medical advancements... 100 years ago I'd be sitting on a street corner begging....

I've never had one either, it's the only one I got. ABrignac sent it to me a few years back, and on the shelf it's sat ever since. Think he sent me the RC too (never had one of those either lol).

I hear the CQ1s were amazing though. Tough thing for me with those older rarer smokes is I'm always afraid I'm going to be disappointed with them, and once they're gone, they're gone.

I'm same way....probably a couple dozen unicorn singles that I've never tried - in a way, slightly disappointing might be better, since there won't be another

I'll probably just end up doing what Tim did and offer them to charity auction - another place does a forum-wide auction for troops once or twice every year...at least that would be better than my widow's next husband smoking them

lol, true. I have smoked a few older unicorns... thus the fear... you got an excellent point with the wife's next husband though.

Very nice selection you got there and thanks for the help to OpFth that was much appreciated.

I am older so I took the words from Cycleman that he gave me many years ago. Smoke what you got, life is short.

I have smoked many great vintage smokes and some that had lost their zip so to speak. It is and has been a great journey.

But at the end of the day, enjoy what you have and if you can help other's, that is even better.

That one I think is the RC184. The bigger one is the 233. I've seen them at one local here, not sure if they still have them or not... thought about buying one before to try it, but that place has so much, so it's hard to choose unless your just dripping cash out of your pockets.

Some wise words all the way around. To paraphrase the great Ron White... I do fully intend to smoke each and every cigar on that shelf eventually :)

Most of everything on there I have (or had) multiple of, though there are a handful exceptions.

Thanks again for the opportunity to try these rarities and your generosity for a worthy cause.

I do keep them in a fridge!!! Well, wine cooler. Though the frostiness isn't condensation, it's just from a combination of lighting and having to decrease the resolution of the picture to upload it to cbid.

I've reached for it many times, it has an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper on it...

It might not be on the shelf much longer.

Corey, like engletl said, they are all yard gars and dog rockets...

Also, I think you're the first person to ever refer to me as a good BOTL :)

(Maybe it's happened before, but I think my memory may be getting bad... or it could just be a byproduct of marriage).

Hmm, ok, you’ve got a point there. I could probably put up a decent pic but doesn’t help that 4 out of my five coolers are in storage for the next couple of years so minimal access to them.

The only reason I have that shelf is because when I tried to space them evenly, boxes didn't fit in the slots. So it was either turn it into a "top shelf" or just ditch the shelf all together. I decided to go with the top shelf.

Nice shelf.

Beer

The tripod gifted me a similar LFD perfecto. I can't recall the name of it though... TKMFDNP or something.

I don't believe those CQ-1s are available anymore, but are good smokes imo. Drool
