There was a report about taking 'heroic' out of the text books to describe the people who stayed there and died.

Not really. The 'board' wants the 180 guys that defended the Alamo to be remembered as heros.

It's convoluted. Not simply something like 'the elitists want to rewrite history' like the press and bottom feeding politicians say.

Plus now they've offered up options.

It all stemmed from a famous last letter Travis wrote..if I got it right.
It's really just a nothing burger

Funny thing about the Alamo, it was defended by mostly Mexicans, including people from the US that moved there to become settlers and became Mexican citizens in order to settle there.

Santa Anna was a Spanyard too boot. Mexican claims to Texas and the other territories they lost to the US is pretty much BS, just an extension of Spains conquests in the New World. Spain/Mexico took those lands from the indigos people to begin with. They lost a war with the US and if it were not for an error in writing the treaty, we would have owned more of modern Mexico, including Baja California.

Actually there aren't to many. They reach New Mexico and turn around thinking they missed the welcome to Texas sign.

MACS said while in the Navy he spent some time in the Philippines, a hot and humid environment like FL, and got accustomed.
