I love a good, dark stogie with some mildly sweet undertones. (I don't mean the artificially flavored cigars or the REALLY sweet, Baccarat type.)

I love the El Rey Del Mundo oscuros and the Gurkha Black Puros stogies! Any recommendations on others that I should try?

Looking forward to your responses......

.
Drew Estate Chateau Real Maduro.

Only problem is, they went out of production years ago. I still have two boxes though, with just a few missing. Delicious dark mild cigar with a hint of sweetness.

+1 any of the Fuente Hemingway maduros fit that bill, from the Short Story, to the Best Seller, to the Work of Art and the Signature

another contender would be the La Careme, by Crowned Heads...

Never tried them with coffee. I’ll keep that in mind.

This just shows how everyone’s tastes differ. CBL is my favorite wrapper leaf. I like Pennsylvania broadleaf maybe even better but it’s not as common.

A Fuente maduro will be dark and mildly sweet.

I do like the Partagas Black as well! I haven't smoked one in years, but I just bought a 5 pack. I'm looking forward to "the reunion".....

Ragin Cajun, congrats enjoy those Partagas Blacks. I recommend having one of those magical, top shelf, cigars with a nice glass of ‘yac or some Zima, if you can find it.
