Ronson Jetlite for $3.50? No way! Just get one of those no-name Bic clones for $0.25, and spend the other $3.25 on cigars!

Yeah that is true, I draw the line at cutting on the stove eye and rolling my cigar around on it. I refuse to go the next level down and start trying to friction light with a stick, string, and stone. Anxious

Lighting cigars on the kitchen gas range (a dozen each day!) is good enough for the immortal Richard Overton, so it's good enough for anyone!

If you haven't seen that video yet, watch it, it's awesome. Be aware the video is 3 years old, so while it says 109, Richard is actually 112 years old now.

Back to the OP, I grabbed on of these here on cbid and love it. Very well built, heavy. The built-in cutter works great and eliminates the need to carry a separate one. The three flames are angled in so you have good control. If you search YouTube you can find an extensive review of a whole bunch of lighters and this was on of the top ones. The only negative is that the fuel window is too small to be that useful.

It's very impressive to whip this one out....

If you like this jet pattern (triple inline, angled together), consider instead:

The Xikar Trezo - the warranty covers everything (even minor cosmetic stuff not affecting function!), even if it's your fault, forever. Instant over-the-counter swaps for a new one, anytime, for any reason, until you die. The Colibri warranty is only 2 years, and has lots of exclusions (doesn't cover finish, doesn't cover lid mechanisms, etc.) Why spend $30 over and over, when you can spend $50 (if you shop around) once and be done until you die of old age? Also IMO, the Trezo easily beats the Astoria on looks. All it's missing is an integrated cutter/punch.

The Vector Drone - if you don't need slick looks or the amazing forever warranty, the Vector Drone is great. You can get it for about $11 if you know where to look. It has the same jet pattern as the Trezo/Astoria, but a huge-capacity transparent tank (like a Xikar Tech or similar lighter) so refills are rare and determining the amount of butane remaining just takes a glance. IIRC, the warranty lasts as long as the lighter model is still in production. After that, it ends. That's still pretty good though, and usually exceeds Colibri's warranty length at about a third the price.

With the exception of two or three clicks the first time after a purge&refill, it's always fired up on first click

Pro had a place that sold I think 12 torches for like $10. It was a mixed variety of torches but most were triple and quad flame. I gifted a few out and lost a couple and can't find the place now. Those were some cheap quality torches.

get 3 Chinese lighters for $ 1- even better. But remember a torch is quicker.
