I am a super noob seeking almost a mentor or advice. I am an entrepreneur who enjoys smoking cigars over business discussion / work or even as a relaxing time. All of the sticks I have smoked have been from local B&M

La Amora De Cuba - EE
Padron 3000 Maduro
Camacho Connecticut
Under crown Shade Conneticuit
Psycho Maduro
My Father #2
RP The Edge
H. Upmann The Banker

And a few other sticks that I can't remember off the top of my head. However, like the nerd I am I get deep into the cigar culture and looking at new sticks. I just ordered my first sampler from CI with a couple of Ave Maria Immaculatas and some Macanudo Cafe Hyde Parks. Would love to pick up a mentor or some ideas for new sticks for beginners to dive into the culture and ramp up my ability to hold strong bodied cigars as I have a particular pallet.

Thanks in advance!

Small piece of advice - don’t call them “sticks”, some FOGs take umbrage to the term.

Got home from vacation last night and found a box from ypetryna waiting for me, here's the damages...

1 - Nub 460 maduro, a personal favorite
2 - Baccarat Rothschild, nh
3 - 601 Blue Label Maduro robusto, nh
4 - H.Upmann 1844 Reserve belicoso, nh
5 - La Perla Habana Cazadores Toronto, nh

A very nice selection, one favorite and four others I'm anxious to try. There was one more in the bag with these but I'm gonna list it with the pib/wants, it just seems to fit in better with that list.
Thanks for the beat down Yaro! Frying pan

Happy new year guys.

Big time noob here... hoping to learn from some vets.
I started smoking cigars earlier in 2018 toward the end of my assignment in Germany (US Army).

Fell in love with cigars after smoking a Montecristo No. 4 and No. 2.

Came back in the States (Seattle, WA area) and immediately started buying from the big sites, with all the "deals" they have... now I have 3 humidors full of cigars that I don't really want to smoke again (NC RyJs, Cohibas, Montecristos, etc etc). I was buying to the point where I thought about getting a PO Box to avoid complaints from my wife, but unfortunately I think I've wasted a significant amount of money (for me) on cigars that I do not love.

Hoping to get some recommendation on cigars from you guys who have been smoking for a long time...

so far some that I've really enjoyed:

Crowned Head Imperiosa
San Cristobal classic
Montecristo No. 4
RP Decade (this forum seems to hate RPs, ha)

Any suggestions on similar but better cigars? I guess "toasted nuts/coffee" is a common phrase I've heard in description of the cigars that I like...

PS. I do enjoy waffles and long walks on the beach, at the same time.

Thanks!
