I made this cigar sign out of 1x6 and custom cigar band. Then I mounted in the garage.

This is really cool.. I wonder if instead of painting ash, if you could use a propane torch and actually char the wood until there's a very thin layer of ash on the end

Burn wood doesn't look like gray cigar ash. It is black ash.....
