As an old Indian, I agree with this "Only the government would believe you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it on the bottom, and have a longer blanket."

Oh, and fwiw, it's not plural for saving time. It's Daylight Saving Time, not "savings".

OK, it's "Saving" not "Savings" but either way no daylight is "saved" and Daylight Saving is a stupid waste of time.

Yeah so silly. Some countries have already got rid of it. I hope we do at some point.

the change in Fall is more tolerable, unless you work graveyard shifts...but we should do away with this...

But not as dumb as the 'academic' on the radio this weekend claiming that DST shifts are responsible for mental health issues for many people.

Well, you just never know. Some folks simply cannot live in Alaska and the far north as they cannot tolerate the extended periods of darkness.

While my brain snorts at that concept as well, one's constitution would have to be milk as opposed to milquetoast, in this day and age who knows? Anxious

I must be milquetoast, since I've had sleep issues since the change, which have caused me to be more grumpy...I now go to bed at about the same time as before the time change, but wake up an hour earlier, at the "time" it would've been had the clocks not artificially fallen back, so I am getting an hour less sleep...

not sure why I don't get sleepy an hour earlier, though...
